  1. New tank syndrome? When fishes get ich it means your water parameters are not stable as yet.
  2. HLLE? I dunno..always thought it was HLLS (Head & Lateral Line Syndrome). Think both also correct. Normally caused by malnutrition and reportedly stray voltage might cause it too. Very common in angelfishes that are'nt fed the right diet.

    Sun corals

Nothing works better than cyclopeeze and blended prawns.
  4. Hmmm..good luck for you sales bro. Just something that I noticed in SRC : It's easy to let go of livestock and equipment, but its hard to sell a tank as most people fear the transport part. An alternative would be to keep one day free and ask everyone to come down on the same day to view, first come first serve. That way you don't waste much time and once your tank is empty it would be easier to sell off the tank set. Anyway, your tank looks real nice as I've seen it in person. Looks as good as new. Liverocks are great too, not a single patch of nuisance algae. Do let me know if you intend to go for a nano tank next time. I'll look out for all the small stuff for you.
  5. Think about the amount of corals you save if you decide to go artificial. Indirectly saving the reefs. Does'nt matter how many corals you can keep alive, imagine the others that die during transit. It's something that most people don't take into account.
  6. What happened to the single air intake? I always thought a single large control valve would be less of a hassle to tune compared to 2 small ones.
  7. Hypersensitivity reactions can be dangerous. Especially if it happens the second time. Don't risk it the next time, wear disposable gloves.
  8. As above. It expanded larger than I thought it would. Feel uncomfortable worrying that it might sting this and sting that. Pic is available at http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=23212 Going for $35.
  9. Also this heliofungia. Expanded too big for my tank. Skeleton diameter around palm size. Purple tentacles with cream white tips. Fluorescent emerald base color. Going for $35. Take both yumas and the heliofungia for $50.
  10. Running new rowaphos will initially create a drop in pH. Best to have your kH levels high before running new rowaphos. Slowly increase the period you run it.
  11. Why must buy? I d/l from kazaa f.o.c then burn onto my own cd one.
  12. Don't worry yourself if your sps is doing fine. There are as many people who keep sps with softies as well as those who don't. The key is good water movement, good skimming and regular use of carbon.
  13. Selling this rock of orange yumas. rock is slightly bigger than fist size. More than 20 polyps on the rock. Picture taken under one ATI aquablue special and one Aquaz blue pro. Going for $25.

  15. Mushrooms will sting some corals. My alveopora landed on my yuma one day...until now not opening that well.
  16. Ah..forgot to reply ur sms today..anyway im using electronic ones.
  17. Flood your tank with phytoplankton.
  18. Hmm..purple lobster? Sounds like enoplometopus debelius. These guys grow quite large and can be rather dangerous to fish if they want to be. Just keep an eye on the fella.
  19. ? I was there today evening . Still got around 5 pcs left.
  20. I have chiselled one thru the head "purposely" But so far its not dying. Seems to be recovering. For my mushrooms (discosomas) , I blend them. Yumas are the hardest to frag and they take the longest to recover.
  21. Hmmm..risk them smashing your tank glass as they grow larger?
