Human grade garlic oil capsules work too. Just burst the capsules and soak the food in the oil.

Glasstank wif sliding glass door 4 housing reptile
FuEl replied to Lester's topic in Sell off/Pasar Malam Shop
Hmmm..If I did'nt remember wrongly the retail price for a new one is around $60 for the whole set plus lights. Just giving the guys a benchmark to follow. As for chameleons, they don't do well in glass tanks for long. They get stressed by their own reflections and the tank has no way of handling extra water especially when you drip water for them to drink. Not to mention the tank size. The few species of chameleons like panther or veiled that are suitable for Singapore's climate needs larger enclosures. A 3-4 feet long enclosure would be more suitable unless you are talking about brookesia? Other than that, a good reliable tank. Just a no-no for chameleons. -
Use superglue gel or just wait for them to attach. As for the fragging part it's up to you. For me I just use my hands and pull them apart.

Only 2 types of seastars are reef safe if I did'nt remember wrongly. Only those from the genus linckia and fromia. Might have others...but seastars from these 2 genus are the more commonly available ones.

If Architecture does'nt interest you and you know you will feel miserable for the rest of your life if you were to take up a job related to your field of study, then I see no reason that you should pursue an honours degree. An extra year of study is mentally draining. However if you wish to have something to fall back on (jobs related to your field of study) I would suggest that you complete your honours degree since you could qualify for it. You are from a lucky batch whereby cross-faculty modules are still given the pass/fail option so that your CAP will not be affected. I was from the guinea pig batch whereby they removed the pass/fail option for cross-faculty modules. I studied science and my grades were horrible for the arts modules. Needless to say I could not even get into honours although I aced in my Science subjects and I wanted to get into honours so much. In this sense, the grading system for your batch has been improved compared to my unfortunate batch. You should take the opportunity and get the honours as it does give you more advantage. Another option you could consider is to change your field of study. Many overseas universities have branches here that take in students from other disciplines. For example, you could easily do a Masters in accounting with just your Bachelor of Architecture degree. That would help you in business in future. For me I studied 3 years in NUS for a degree that I have no interest in. They changed the curriculum only after I entered. That was horrific. So after my 3 years of study, I don't remember much about NUS life except my friends & dead mugging for exams. At least soon I will be changing my course of study to something that really interests me. At least the learning experience will be viewed as enjoyable. Look for other opportunities in other countries, you'll be surprised at the amount of choices you get compared to studying locally (something which I deeply regret).

Coral warfare? Or look at the surrounding areas for any foreign lifeforms like sponges etc. Some sponges in the process of growing will release chemicals that will cause nearby coral tissue to become stressed.

The most problematic part of running a business is keeping the accounts and maintaining positive cashflow. It helps to have a capable accountant.

Check the water parameters with quality test kits. By right if you are using newly mixed saltwater there is no way the Ca levels can be so high unless you are overdosing calcium supplements. Your mushrooms seem bleaching..Might be due to light shock. Try moving them to a more shaded area or decrease your lighting hours until they recover.

Decapitated or Decapsulated?

White xenias will turn brown if lighting is too yellow (Eg. around 6500K) Xenias tend to grow better if different specimens are grown together. Xenia growth can be accelerated by fragging leather corals in the same water. White xenia does well even in nutrient poor sps tanks. Pulsing has alot to do with the pH level. My frag collection perished on one day when temperature was a little high. They started melting at the base and could'nt even be saved via fragging. Try your best to keep temperatures below 28 degrees celcius. Mine reached close to 29 degrees during the warm season and it was enough to stress them to crash.

Ric is now sitting comfortably in someone's 2ft "cube". Anyway, sea cucumber and urchin still available. Sea cucumber going from $10 onwards. Urchin going for $15 onwards. This sea cucumber does not climb glass and behaves just like the reef friendly tigertail sea cucumber. I raised it from a 2-3mm bugger. Now its about the length of the index finger. Don't see this sea cucumber around very often do you?

I'm here. The sea cucumber was from Marine Life. Excellent condition.
