  1. Get sun corals that have been fed after collection from the wild, when they are being held before shipping out. Helps a lot. The usual ones have not been fed in weeks that is why it's so hard to get them to open again. Iwarna does import sun corals from Australia. These open on the day of arrival.

  5. Pin-tail wrasse, Cirrhilabrus cf lanceolatus, at Iwarna left with 3 sub-males.
  6. Carribean shipment just arrived at Iwarna. Queen angels small & medium, Blue angels small & medium, French angels small & medium, 2" atlantic blue tangs, royal grammas, ricordea floridas, swissguard basslets, chalk bass, etc.
  7. Still left a few beautiful Ultra Maximas at Iwarna. Iwarna coming many queen angels, achilles tangs & black tangs.
  8. Probably flukes. Best to give the fish a freshwater dip or praziquantel bath. Alternatively feed him Dr G's Deworm RX available at Iwarna, Madpetz or Marinelife. It contains praziquantel as an active ingredient & when consumed by the fish will cause the flukes to dislodge.
  9. Fish coming in on Thursday. Priority given to those who are able to collect the fishes on the day itself.
  10. Yellow hammers $50/head. Anything > 10 heads $500. Iwarna Red Sea 1 tonne shipment arriving today at 5pm. Purple tangs, sohal tangs, asfur angels, maculosus angel, regal angels, emperor angel, golden butterflies, white face butterflies, hooded butterflies, austriacus butterflies, paucifasciatus butterflies, red sea leopard wrasse, 8line flasher, 4 line cleaner wrasse, minute wrasse (new in trade), mimic blenny, wild orchid dottybacks, bicinctus clownfish, red sea goatfish, arabian chromis, yellowfin damsel, sulphur damsel, rubberlip, masked puffer, arabian boxfish (rare). Not a shipment to miss for those bored of the usual red sea shipments!

  14. Iwarna Wednesday night LPS galore. E.T.A about 10-11pm. Euphyllia paraanchora (a.k.a hammer coral) special shipment. Colors: Nuclear wicked green , Neon Blinding Yellow , Neon Royal Orange , Reverse stem, Bicolor. Ultra moon corals, Ultra gonioporas, Ultra heliofungia actiniformis, special zoanthids.
  15. 2pcs of Pellet feeding 5" bandit angelfish at Iwarna, each going for $800 nett only. Also 2pcs of 2" black tangs, 1pc 5" Black tang, all feeding, $750 each.

  19. Friday early morning 3am at Iwarna. Australia shipment: Acropora sp., Montipora sp., Sunburst pavona, Sunburst goniopora, Lobophyllia sp., Aussie Sun coral, Yellow turbinaria Sometime later on Friday (timing to be confirmed): Many flame angels, many flame hawks, many achilles tangs, black tangs, bandit angels, some potter's leopard wrasse (M. geoffroy), Only 1 Golden dwarf melatremus moray and 1 golden trumpetfish.
  20. Give Fauna Marin Ultraphos a try. A 1L bottle will last you a long long time. This product has solved many hair algae issues in tanks which were running mostly iron based phosphate removers.
  21. Last 2 pieces at Iwarna. 4pcs sold already.
  22. If you cannot figure out what's wrong do a big 80% water change with either NSW or a reliable brand of salt. SPS are more sensitive to other contaminants which may not affect LPS that much, such levels of contaminants are always higher in lower grade sea salt. These cannot be detected by conventional test kits. Such contaminants include heavy metals which are often many times greater in low quality sea salt as compared to NSW levels.
