  1. Bali Soft Coral & fishes arrived at Iwarna. Seafans, xenias, yumas, sponges, assorted wrasses, etc.
  2. Doubt it's wild. Ocellaris I would guess but for it to be this color quite a few gene mutations need to occur, which is very rare in the wild. Amelanistic and missing bars & a third mutation on the "orange gene".
  3. "The sphex is the smallest of the medium-bodied lionfishes, and is also one of the rarest you’re likely to encounter in the trade." Taken from http://www.lionfishlair.com/quickstats/psphex.shtml
  4. This thread is stock report not price report. Best to head down to check as stocks move really fast. Prices to individual consumers may vary due to purchasing quantity or frequency or condition of livestock thus may not accurately reflect the actual selling price.

  13. Fresh stocks of Reef Pods Tisbe just arrived at ML, Iwarna and Madpetz. Iwarna have few pcs of stable, feeding bluespot jawfish and blackcap gramma pairs, 2-3" black tangs, 2-3" blue angels, 3-4" queen angels, pellet feeding potter angel, pin tail wrasse a.k.a cirrhilabrus cf. Lanceolatus.
  14. You don't have to worry as clam at Iwarna are imported from exporters that perform QC checks before they are shipped out. Pyramid snails are usually found on clams coming from poorly maintained export & holding facilities, which we do not import from. That is why cheap clams always have a caveat.
  15. Shipping is horrible for this fish. 20-30% DOA usually and another 20-30% in the hands of aquarists. Numbers that make it in aquaria are probably less than 40% of imported numbers. Given how these fish are recently being indiscriminately exploited for the aquarium trade since their recent collection, there is no way collection in such numbers is ever sustainable. If this was a common species, it would not take so long for them to appear in the trade, this species probably has a very limited distribution in the wild. As responsible hobbyists perhaps it is good to reflect on how such unregulated collection will impact the species in the wild.
  16. Pyramid snails don't usually come with other corals, they come from infested clams.
  17. Iwarna has one epaluette shark from Australia. Very hardy species that can tolerate low oxygen levels.
  18. Other fishes include Yellow tangs of various sizes, 2 bandit angelfish that will feed very soon and a 1.25" stable black tang from last shipment.
  19. Last 5 ecsenius oculus blennies left at Iwarna. Hawaii later 3am. http://reefbuilders.com/2013/08/16/rare-fish-alert-ecsenius-oculus/
