  1. I'll take Item 8 if it is still available.
  2. I might be going NSW soon. Especially for people rearing larvae, salt-mix might just kill them.
  3. Yep..just don't understand why it died. Main suspect only my pistol shrimp. Sigh..maybe it should'nt have went walking around. Next time must leash adolescent harlequin shrimps. New marine gadget..harlequin leash.
  4. nah it's dead..can tell when the body turns pink. Flushed it already.. Later going to banish my pistol just in case..
  5. Sigh..sad to say..the male harlequin shrimp of my pair was found motionless today. The male is quite small, only about 1 cm plus. Been doing fine for weeks until today. It was found near the place of my candy cane pistol (Alpheus randalli) which is about the same size as itself. What is the possibility of the pistol shrimp killing the harlequin shrimp? I can't figure out what else could have killed it as my water parameters are fine and the whole body is intact. Argh..maybe time to banish the pistol shrimp into my sump. I'll give the male harlequin shrimp till tomorrow. If it does'nt move anymore there goes the pistol shrimp!
  6. Monti cap reserved. My urchin still available, hoping to clear as I need to make space for other stuff.
  7. If it is not possible to UV-sterilize or ozone the water, you should filter the water down to 1 micron first. After that just pour chlorine into the whole tank of seawater and leave it to bubble overnight. By then the chlorine would be gone and the culture water will be effectively sterilized. Then add your fertilizer and algae.
  8. All 3 rocks of pink zoanthids going for $50.
  9. Think slightly opaque plastic sheets will work better and cost cheaper than glass. The light that pass through is still enough to grow microalgae.
  10. Pic of the brown monti-cap. Nice shape...going for $15.
  11. Seen the bubble while visiting..it's not brownish white la..it's peach/pinkish.
  12. Mine after cleaning works already. Within minutes you see the foam rising to the top again. Mine's a weipro 2012.
  13. Not sure if it is Turbinaria peltata that's why I put under sps section..
  14. Still waiting for it to open ...still looking good. I wonder if my nutrient level is too low.. Maybe will feed more and see what happens.
  15. Zoanthids are toxic, I doubt anything would eat them except nudibranchs?
  16. Nah..different individual. I got a few. Speaking of them...anyone kind enough to help me identify them? I can't find any matching species..
  17. Omg..I'm the only diligent one who cleans the cup everyday. Maybe I got an addiction towards skimmate. If I clean daily....I get X amount of skimmate to clear daily. If I clean every 2 days, I get less than 2X amount of skimmate to clear. That's why I clean daily.
  18. I can pass you for free and let you in on how to culture them. By 4-5 days you should have ample amounts. Pm me to arrange~
  19. Lights off already..however found a link for you to read up. http://www.meerwasser-lexikon.de/eng/0/308...aritophorus.htm Mine's only 2-3cm.
