  1. Sounds like velvet. Catch out the fish asap as this disease is very infectious and could easily kill in 1-2 days. Isolate it and perform copper treatment immediately (Seachem cupramine). Refer to the following thread as the guy experienced similar symptoms too. http://www.marinebreeder.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=3308
  2. Raised by me, letting go as I do not have the luxury of growout space as yet. http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=71053 Currently it is full purple, total length around 2.5 cm. Starting bid $25. Bid ends 290808, 2359 hrs. Collection will be in Marine Parade.
  3. Queensland dottyback (1 male and 1 female), unable to pair as my tank is too small. $30 for the pair (original price $30+ per fish) Springeri dottyback - $40 (as peaceful as orchid dottyback) Collection in Marine Parade. Drop me a pm with a contact if interested.
  4. Breeders of clownfish have been using flower pots and tiles. The clownfishes host these and lay their eggs on them. You don't need a real anemone to keep them happy.
  5. Have 2 sets to let off. Condition 8/10. Selling for $25 per unit. Selling as I need to make space and my existing setup does not have sufficient power points for them to be put to use. Works well for quarantine tanks as it can be hung on the front or back glass. Can be partially submersed if necessary. Recommended water input should be below 1000 l/hr.
  6. Don't have any rocks at all..easy to catch then.
  7. Still available. Collection will be in Marine Parade. Drop me a pm with the amount you require and I'll respond to you.
  8. I have lots. You might have to give it a brief FW dip to rid it of some cyano. If interested just drop me a pm.
  9. Still working on getting decent numbers and survival. Not a very easy fish to raise.

  17. Hi garyjg, I've included the link in which you got your info from for other reefers to have a look. http://www.aquahobby.com/marine/e_wurdemanni.php I do not know Craig Burda but I'm sure he's entitled to his own opinion just like many other people. Craig's opinion is applicable to most marine organisms. A lot of literature will list angelfish as non-reef safe but many SPS keepers keep them in their tanks anyway. Shrimps from the Lysmata genus will only harrass other reef inverts if they lack both natural and artificial diets, in other words being starved. Such behavior is usually rare in a reef tank due to the wide range of natural foods available. All shrimps are basically scavengers and if they are seen to be harrassing other inhabitants, it usually implies that the inhabitant is about to pass on anyway. I believe that all aquarists should take all advice with a pinch of salt.
  18. Looking for unique zoanthids, pumping xenia, rics and mushrooms. Just pm me.
  19. The first settler is fully pigmented with and coming close to 2cm. The second one has a slight orange hue to it. Now focusing on second batch. Currently at 9 days, around the size of newly hatched clownfish larvae I think.
  20. Hope to see you back into this hobby soon. Your care and dedication towards seahorses should be the standard all seahorse keepers should strive towards.
  21. I have cultures that can be distributed for free but I'm in the East.
