so far so good for mine too, my previous hydor flo got stuck after a short period of time. There is a trick to this if it gets stuck too frequently. I used Vaseline on the internal moving parts, it really helps it move smoothly. I read up about using it in reef tank and understand it has no issue. Mine so far ok on Hydor flo. Hope don't need to use on this gadget

Hands got itchy last week and bought Grotech ABC+M to try try in my low tech tank.... Amazingly right after my first dose, my low tech SPS shown increased PE which I never seen before. Wonderful product * feedback is from someone who has low tech tank and little experience in SPS.

Like this thread alot, kinda reminds me when I first started with low budget and then slowly build them up once saved up enough. I guess not everyone is fortunate to have big budgets and start off with all high end equipment. Saw some discouraging posts when you first started but I guess you have made it now. All the best!

Hmm don't think there's an official name for it. In the past Hydor has it but that one was famous for getting stuck after long period and won't move automatic. This one so far is quite smooth motion. Price is quite cheap for such gadget.

Hi bro, I would usually switch off all wave makers and pumps to ensure water movement drop to minimum. You would also want to blast your lights full strength. Then depending on your preference, you may want to choose Av (aperture priority) @ <f2.8 or f8? Take note I'm using macro lenses Just ensure you have good stability when taking photos. Macro lens or zoom lens can help u get up close. Hope I answered your questions. Feel free to ask more if required
