I like to add that UV only kills free floating organism that is being pumped thru the unit. Those beneficial bacterial that have already attached themselves onto surfaces and medias like biohome should be safe from that. this is what i read online, experts here may want to comment further

Is there any way of calculating what is the proper size for effective sterilization? Did some reading on the thoughts of using UV on a reef tank. There are pros and cons but most are concern UV may kill the good baterias too.

just bought Dr G's antiparasitic food for my ich infested fishes... hope this work so far, when I first fed them all rush to eat but after a while all 'siam' I guess because it is bitter. Have to carry on feeding so they have no choice. Haha

Tested my NO3 with Salifert test kit and results is super low! I think my Biopellet is working else with the amount of food I feed, I don't think it is that low. To be fair I have Chaeto in refugium too
