" i mean alot of site say alot of things , but personal experience from my 4ft cube cycling , i know they did the job at least my batch , hermits will turn killer only when they cant change shells , no food etc . applies to all animal . But for ur problem this is a recommended solution : Outbreaks can be sudden and severe, and damaging to corals. Siphon it off, reduce photoperiod temporarily, reduce trace element additions, and crank your pH to 8.6. the pH must be maintained high continuously for it to work. but if u have corals u might opt to remove them or employ other methods like employing silicate or po4 control media . cheers just my 2cent

its a lantern Fish aka flashlight fish.. it has biolumi bacteria in the sac below its eyes . scienfic name is : Anomolops Katoptron Kept a school of them . they are very hardy . keep the temp below 26degree if u wanna keep the glow .. if not it will slowly fade away. u can make it flash it lights and have fun with it by in total darkness , take a flash light on and off mimicing their natural living condition , they will shine on and off back in response .

Hair algae Diatoms (brown) for blue hermit i notice they taking cynao .. but not confirm .

Bought a Whole Bunch of cleaning Crew to strip my 4ft Cube off algae and diatoms after cycling for 1mths .. never expect they did such a good job and the tank is clean within 48hrs and thx to one reefer help me siphon and catch them out i got no more stuff for them to clear .. worry they go destructive .. letting them go Blue Legged Hermits - 5dollars Sally Light Foots - 5dollars i have around 8-10 each all sittign in my frag tank . lots of spare empty shells . Trying to make space for another tank , so clearing some addictives too some unused . Ranging from 5dollars to 20dollars . Picture below alot more in storeroom.
