dont want to use the controller also can lor, use timer switches for each 6060. This is the one i use, $25 each can program for each individual day and 8 different settings per day. But dont set it to turn off/on too many times a day lah, ur tunze cant take it.

u can also store some water from your water heater from the bathroom, let it cooldown overnight b4 using. Less nutrients from heated water.

If u have a sump tank, add sand to the middle compartment then buy some algae like chaeto or red bamboo and put it in the same compartment. Idea is to let these algae absorb the nutrients from ur tap water b4 the water returns to the main tank. If it works u should see cyna and brown algae growing in the sand of the sump in a few days and very minute outbreak in your main tank which should clear in a few days once the nutrients are used up. Do not add LR in ur tank in the mean time if possible ...

I have this 2 inch damsel thats so aggressive it whips and nibs at any fish it sees! I cant stand it! Besides emptying the whole tank contents to catch it is there any way to catch it without removing my rocks and corals? Have tried using food and net to trap it but its too smart ... damn it!

U based those calculations on tank size or amount of water after deduction of LR in ur tank? Cos the actual water volume in ur tank will differ with the amount of live rocks u got inside as well as sand.

My lastest piece, black sun with about 25 heads. What i love about this particular specimen is that the tubes outside have a slimy luminous green coat as compared to other black sun specimens, its not algae btw hehe. *pls resize picture
