Just get a few clean pails syphon the water out save one side later finish moving tank can pour/pump back. Or u can borrow a big barrel first. Your current LRs n livesand got enuf bacteria n organisms inside to sustain the changes u making dont worry its not as if u baking them under the sun til they dry up. What u should perhaps be worrying more is where to keep all your livestock while u r moving the tank, want to move tank still buy so many corals .... cannot tarhun sibo hehe?

What ballast is it using? Magnetic or electronic?

Hi there sorry to hear what happened, have u tried opening the plug up to check the wiring connections? Make sure non are crossed and that the plug aint wet inside. Then open the front cover to check for any leaks inside too. If non of the above is spotted u can try contacting the resun sole distributor for a repair quote

I guess it should be fine except the side u lose viewing on u will have problems scrubbing off algae growth on the glass, when u doing your rescape try to leave sufficient gap between rocks and glass for that particular side. Or leave a gap in between that side and your pillar thats big enuf for ur glass magnet to move about. For scaping i think u quite good at it but just remember to scape in such a way flow can reach most areas instead of having deadspots which build up nitrates and debris overtime. And i spoken to u b4 about your wiring and sump layout which needs improvement but that one i'll help u out after u do your tank moving and rescape lah. CR also if need help let me know. Your return from the skimmer should'nt be directed back into the middle compartment where your skimmer feed pump is, by doing this ur skimmer is partially skimming what it had already skimmed earlier. 2ndly the middle compartment is loaded with fine chips? If the bottom of the chips get plugged by debris overtime the first compartment is gonna get flooded n overflow out. U will also need to either put a cloth over the water coming out of the skimmer or some media sponge so that it prevents micro bubbles from going into your maintank.

Dude i suggest u better do more homework b4 stepping into this hobby or spend more money on equipment which u dont understand whats it rated for or its purpose. 10k-12k is to simulate natural light spectrum of up to 5ft 14k til 6ft 20k for deeper than 6ft. Usually u need to pair off the 20k with a 10k-14k to get good results. The higher the 'K' the dimmer the light, its not what most reefers think the higher the K the better. Hope this helps. Also using a 400k MH with just a depth of 2.5 might be overkill, some SPS might bleach.

Yes i have the fella just sniffs n swims away uninterested. Its nibbling a lot from my liverocks i cant tell whats it eating. Maybe pods ... fingers crossed
