The white stuff growing on your rocks that look like cobwebs is fungus, common thing to happen when going thru liverocks cycling stage the first couple of weeks. You'll need to do a 20-30% water change soon, get a nitrate tester kit (Salifert brand) you're gonna need it a lot since u going sps. You should see a spike in nitrate soon during cycling stage so dont go adding any corals or fishes yet(well maybe a few chromies wont do any harm since they hardy). The nitrate spike stage is when u change your water, not all hor just 30%. If u got money to burn get a nitrate reactor to control nitrate levels. Slowly adjust your water paremeters back aft. that.(If u dont know what parameters are suitable for sps then i suggest u read up more b4 u venture into sps) Once nitrate stage passes thats when u have the algae boom stage, dont be alarmed that your liferocks will be covered with green algae. If your parameters are stable enuf just get an algae blenny(or some call it the lawnmower blenny) and maybe some common tangs to graze the algae. My advice is not to introduce any sps til algae boom stage passes which should be about 2mths or sooner depending. To shorten the algae boom stage u can use an FR running Rowaphos or any phosphate absorbing media. K i better shutup liao dont want to seem too kpo, all the best and have fun.

($10 for 2 new valves) 4. U also failed to declare that PH controller's probe needed to be replaced cos it could no longer be calibrated properly as the tip was damaged. (a further $85 was spent replacing it) Altogether i had to spend a further $295 excluding the $350 i paid u for the CR in order for the damn thing to finally work as intended. I believe if u had stated all these faults in ur ad no one would have bought the CR. But i have to admit lah becos of ur dishonesty i learnt a great deal about CRs ... and btw i have sold tons of stuff in SRC and have never once had an issue with breach of trust or ppl accusing me of anything nor wanting to flame me .... u must be curious how come i can achieve that? If u are not than i am sad to say the future of a young chap such as yourself would never go far in life. P/S : And yes i am near a computer but i aint hiding behind one, i think u intelligent enuf to know u need to sit in frt of a pc to type not behind it.

This fish is best introduced into the tank with more than 1. The one u have is a male btw. Their fav food is live pods, it will take a while b4 it decides whether to eat the fed food once it cannot find pods, it'll spend most of its time poking and sniffing at rocks/corals looking for pods. If urs doesnt behave as it should ... good luck.

Get a pair of scaping tongs it'll help lots. The larger sized ones that have a mechanical pincer wit rubber tips. And since scaping is gonna be painful so try to do it right the first time. One thing about scaping with BB, some form of securing the rocks must be used. I am running BB with coarse sand scattered around the rocks just to make it look like theres a sandbed ... but only about 1cm of it. 6 mths on theres no sign of diatoms or deadspots.
