What i've noticed over the yrs of keeping my 4 tangs is that when i feed them green vegetables it ends up not fully digested and when they poo u get tons of floating half digested bits of veggy floating all over ur tank and corals which in the end rot somewhere in the tank if it doesnt make it to the overflow. Nori is best so far but dont overfeed as well hope this helps ...
Thats the beauty bout this skimmer, u dont need to turn off the pumps while washing the neck with the auto wash function, just turn the switch to stop foaming action and turn on other switch to wash neck. The dirty water is still kept within the skimmer body so once u turn foaming back on the washed dirt floats up with the foaming.
The only downside so far after reading some reviews from other users is that the skimmer's footprint is a little big. Cant go in certain sumptanks so have to run it externally which means u'll need to do some piping work or run hoses.
I am highly impressed by this new skimmer by REDSEA, planning to get one. Do we have a REDSEA distributor in sg?

Its funny how so many sharks are killed for their fins yearly yet whenever we goto a chinese wedding dinner theres only a few strands of fins in the much overhyped soup. Not saying the killing of sharks is funny though ...
Ahh ok kindof similar to what i'm doing, i'm running a sulphur Denitrator, NP pellets(dont seem too effective), chaetos and an algae scrubber. Seems over the top but i have over 20 fishes ... anyway really nice setup. How come so little fishes?
Wah ball rolling liao good to see bro, just a little feedback on the SUNSUN wave maker, office setup had 2pcs all 2 had their impellor rods corroded within 4mths of usage and broke. Pump started making rattling noise after that and jammed. Hope u have better luck with yours.
What corals u plan on keeping? If sps u need G2-230w like the one i'm using, if just softees n Lps then G2-160 or 180 will do. Heres the link to DELightings http://delightings.com/index.cfm?GPID=30 or u can contact Razali directly from the sponsors' section in this forum. Also if budget isn't a problem then go for the cree LED upgrade, the color pigments of the corals really stand out with the cree upgrade. Prices all stated at the DE website.
hey bro the millepora frag u passed me the last time belongs to what colony har? The brown is fading away slowly into a jade green tint, polyps still transparent, stn stopped after i covered the exposed parts with epoxy & new flesh growing over it.
Yes from walt disney ... oops i meant smith. Bro Ced was telling me its a prostrata as initially i tot it was a millepora as it had whiskers flapping ard.
