  1. I am officially calling this thread the 4 figure digit skimmer review thread! kekeke
  2. smallest about 1" biggest 1.5". They r so graceful and beautiful for $1 fish lol .. best thing is they are peaceful. Only problem is they always hungry!
  3. Are u using any Rowaphos? If u r then a Seio 620 enuf for ur tank if not then a seio 820.
  4. As for the Rowaphos review, well phosphate reading is zero for the past few days already. Heres how i used my Rowaphos, i put 500ml worth into a filter bag and clipped it into one of the H20 overflowing partition in my sump. No need to spend money and electicity on FR dispensor, the natural H20 flow going thru the fliter bag did the job hehe ...
  5. Alright time for some updates ... heres a full pic of perhaps my final rescape (hopefully). Erected a tower with 2 rocks just for the hammer on the leftside as it kept blooming bigger and bigger thus dangerous to other corals near it. Also added 10 apple green chromies, 1 royal gamma & 2 goat fishes to help clean corals and sandbed.
  6. yup very mature and nice looking tank u got keep it up~ cheers
  7. K first thing u must measure is after deducting the hood thickness when placed on top of tank how much viewing space is left for the eyes, cos if u going for narrow tank u have to consider the hood dimensions otherwise later stack a LR or 2 reach the max viewing height liao then buay swee. Cannot even play SPS if miscalculate. Anyway from the diamensions of the 4Ft plus cabinet i'd say narrow or not narrow height u choose to make the setup u still need to stand on a chair or small ladder to place corals and rocks below .. maintenaince blah blah blah. Lastly if u going T5 then low height is the way if deeper tank u're gonna need MH which u dont like right? hehe
  8. Previously got run activation carbon, one bag. As for adding bit by bit basket now then u say, i put 500ml worth into a tea bag liao. But ok lah corals seem to like it, all open fat fat lol.
  9. U want open concept view tank or one sided view tank?
  10. I never used any product at all for 3 mths until now as the cyna bacteria was under control (Phosphate almost zero for first 2 mths) then recently after rescaping and much added corals (evil chuckle) had lots of brown algae on sandbed and glass.
  11. btw Agramilk is fully sold out! Next week then got new stock~
  12. wat type of product u mean bro? For anti-phosphate?
  13. K tested Phosphate level at 1.6 mg/l (quite bad) b4 adding Rowaphos.
  14. Some goodies i bot from RD today, cant wait to use 'em hehe
  15. make sure u mix garlic guard with food for the BT.
  16. hmmp big deal i got 2 fishes 2 shrimps! LOL ...
  17. To create a more natural wave reflections under blue lighting. Placing ur wave maker too low might also not be good for your live corals later on, well it depends what kind of corals and the placement.
  18. Nice setup Lara and yes u better monitor the anemone closely. Mine wiped 6 fishes and 3 corals. Remember to feed the anemone with a small piece of prawn or fish meat every 3-4 days.
  19. more natural looking one would be this
  20. My water test kit, cost me a bomb 2 yrs back when i bought it and had ppl calling me mad lol ...
  21. closed loop likely using a check valve to break backflow and syphoning.
