    Just saw a tornado while getting off work from my offshore island, bloody scary thank goodness it subsided aft 20mins

      It can be quite scary if its the first time you're seeing this at such a close proximity.

      I believe what you saw was a waterspout. The last time Singapore was hit by a tornado was in 1950.

      Most likely a waterspout if it's on water. If it's a tornado, it'll be all over the news as tornadoes are dangerous and waterspouts much less so.
