  1. Hermit working OT, day and night.
  2. The pipe organ had a visitor this morning. Here's the Pipe Organ and a "Happy" Halloween.
  3. A member of the clean-up crew busy housekeeping.
  4. Water supply... RODI system and several jerry cans for storage.
  5. "Bird of Paradise" Seriatopora (Birdsnest) growth, from January to April.
  6. Purple tip yellow tenuis growth, from January to April.
  7. Today, water test followed by WC. Key parameters tested as follows: Ca 410 KH 7.3 Mg 1360 Corals are happy. Will try to maintain close to these levels. Finished the RS salt bucket few weeks ago. Now on TM Pro-Reef.

  9. Completing the spectrum of colours, here are INDIGO and VIOLET.
  10. Lights ON, and the 2nd pic showing full polyp extension, after lights OFF.
  11. And a Montipora Setosa.
  12. A splash of ORANGE. Here's an encrusting montipora.
  13. The Hot Pink Stylopora. A must have, this and the birdsnest equivalent. One of the first few corals I looked for when I returned to the reef keeping. Taken under LEDs and the 2nd pic, naturally lit.
  14. Notice the coral chips in mesh bags, that's the bio-media.
  15. Neon GREEN stylo and Lime GREEN monti
  16. The Bacto Reef Balls go in here, in the first sump compartment. They are replaced every two weeks. Helps to control nutrient levels and keep nitrates and phosphates in check.
  17. Deep PURPLE Millepora. Like the RAINBOW milli, this too has blossomed since January. #dananosreef

  19. Skunk clown pair seeking refuge in the cespitularia after lights out. Please excuse the fuzzy pic taken under low light conditions with a phone cam last night.

  21. Today's theme is YELLOW. The colour provides a nice contrast in a reef. Here's a purple tip yellow tenuis and a yellow pocillopora.
  22. Sorry to hear about the AEFW bro. Suggest continue monitoring for signs. Dip anything that you suspect might be infested. And glue down the eggs if there are any. Just my two cents. Thanks for sharing the tank and coral pics, it's looking up
