  1. AT, the red one in the middle and purple one to the right are also from Central Singapore
  2. Ahah! AT, but you forget, Joe is not known as "Al-Frag-ya Fundamentalist" for nothing. Don't worry Joe, if you do see such a pink-blue-purple acro colony, you know who to call We'll know what to do
  3. I lived in the States for 9 years, no issues whatsoever. Some really nice and friendly people there. And yes, they can be very frank at times but it's nothing personal. It takes all kinds to make the world go round... so, PEACE my brothers. ...now, back to Joe's upcoming GIANT NANO, yes a nano!
  4. not the one in the middle but the one with three growth tips to the left of the green monti Edmund, your baby's influence I presume
  5. Thanks Huskies, Dispar & Den! Just to share, here's another growth sequence... 9Oct - 16Nov
  6. I couldn't believe it when I first heard it too... Welcome to nano-land Joe! Actually, a 30g or 40g tank would be at the upper-most limits of what most would consider a nano. Nano's are typically 20g or less.
  7. Pos 'A' hidden from view in the pic. It's a small opening on the side. The water simply overflows gently down the side back into the sump... no bubbles, no splash, no noise. I had the same question when I ordered the Urchin from Edmund.
  8. Excellent AT... good close-ups and "wide-angle" shots (even w/out a wide angle lens!). I like the blue background in some of your pics. Did you go manual? If so, what were your settings? You are showing strong potential my "young" apprentice!
  9. Very nice Darren. Does your flame angel pick on your corals?
  10. Remove just the hairy ones...bad crab!
  11. Here's a pic of the Urchin sitting in the return compartment of the sump. As the footprint of the Urchin is small, it takes up very little space. Ideal for smaller reef systems (<75gallons). For more info... http://www.eaquanature.com/store/product_i...products_id=224
  12. Here's a pic of the skimmate after 2 weeks.
  13. Looking good! Sounds like you've been reading up and doing your research on keeping and caring for marine LS. Keep it up.
  14. Outstanding shots AT... even without a strobe! Love the pics!! Brings back good memories.
  15. I saw one which looks like it but with slight colour variations... at T95 yesterday.
  16. Can consider the Eheim 1250 as well. It works both in-sump and out of the water as well. If the latter, then it doesn't add heat to the water that you're trying to chill.
  17. Powder, I believe the Teco Micro is a thermoelectric chiller and does not use refrigerent. Not sure if the A/C man can help. You might want to check with the distributor here in SG. You may also contact the manufacturer directly for feedback/ideas on what to do or how to troubleshoot. Have you added any new pumps/powerheads/lights lately that would cause the temp increase? Personally, for my 2ft (2x1.5x1.5), I'm using the Teco TW4 (RA240). For cooling, IMO, the more powerful the better... although the TW2 would have probably sufficed for my tank. I got mine 2nd hand from a fellow reefer... so far so good.
  18. Thanks Bum! Here are a couple of pics I took today...
  19. Looks great! When did you move the live stock over from your "old" tank?
