  3. Nice angels... they get pretty large though... how big is your tank? And what do you feed them? Perhaps you could share with us a full tank pic with all the angels. It would be advisable to slow down on stocking your tank as your current bio-load may not be sustainable with a tank just one month old.
  4. If there's any beach to go to for "miracle mud" substitute, it's probably gonna be Pantai Morib. What's even better, it comes with sand/mud filtering clams... wow!!! Domino, do keep us posted on how it works out for you.
  5. Andy, from the pic, I noticed 3 colonies that are more than 50-75% RTNed. Are you facing any problems with your water parameters or flow/circulation? Any idea why it's happening coz' the rest of your acros appear OK. Dan
  6. Sometimes, keeping your fish happy with regular feeding and maintaining pristine water conditions for your sps is a challenge. To get your phosphate levels down, try feeding less. And yes, replacing your Rowaphos media may be a good idea. Depending on your bioload, a "beckett" may be in order.
  7. Yes, it will affect your acros as Alfa pointed out. You should strive to get it down to zero. How much and what do you feed your fish/corals?
  8. DeepBlue, that's a really nice "ribena" coloured acro you got there!
  9. Wow... AGM, nice specimens! Keep us posted on how the grow and colour up (more intensely) under your new bulbs.
  10. Congratulations Vinoth! Your wife (to be) knows about your other passion... reefkeeping, right?
  11. Nice! Haven't seen the around these parts... have you?
  12. Whoahhh! Great looking skimmer and skimmate AT!
  13. Hey AP, Have you come across any MH pendants supplemented with T5s, all in one light fixture? Dan
  14. Hey Alfa, where do you get your supply of distilled water? Thinking about starting out my new tank with 100% DI. Thanks! Dan
  15. PMed you wrt the large and 4" scroll coral, thx.
  16. Try feeding it newly hatched BBS (< 1mm in size). Can hatch your own or buy from LFS that sell 'em. I've had my sunburst for over 2 months. I feed them fresh live BBS almost daily, resulting in a heavy bioload but bo pian. Fortunately, I've got a good skimmer supplemented with chemical filtration (i.e. Reefez Carbon Plus, Rowaphos, Contraphos Konz., ... keeping the dissolved nutrient levels in check.
  17. That's almost exactly what another reefer said to me a while back... in fact, you visited his place just this past weekend I believe.
  18. Improvement? Hmmm... that's gonna be tough. Great looking tank Scarab! Simply awesome!! I remember the purple acro you picked up from PR, looks great! It's in good hands.
  19. All the best dude! 6 months will pass before you know it... Besides, as you said, your tank will be in good hands.
