  1. The digi on the right is $45 and the left is $35. If your tank is sps ready and at least 6 months old, and you are keen, please reply in this thread by sharing a little about your tank and sps husbandry. Pictures would help. Just want to make sure the corals go to good homes. The digis may be sold to the most deserving tanks/reefers. Only the eventual buyer(s) will be notified by PM. Thank you in advance for your interest.
  2. Blueheaven, we're looking for practical insights based on personal experience. Not just theory and research. Hamman has made it pretty clear what he's looking for.
  3. Blueheaven, what article? Can you pls be more specific? I believe hammanbmw is looking for sps keepers to share their experiences and husbandry skills. What's yours? Perhaps you could summarise the key points of your article.
  4. If I remember correctly, that could be from the same mother colony as Scarab's yellow body/polyp w/ purple tip tenuis! Keep us posted on the colour improvement with your new bulbs.
  5. are you referring to the bull or the matador?
  6. Congrats DeepBlue!! March is turning out to be busy month for Singapore tanks in the global reef keeping scene. Well done bro!
  7. I believe the promo only applies to the aquacultured sps. Still many quality specimens to choose from. At $25 per colony, the best price in town!
  8. Scarab, my sentiments exactly!
  9. If I went bigger, it would very likely be mixed reef with a lot more sandbed space and swimming room for the fishes. It's still a dream at the moment If we are neighbours one day, perhaps we could connect our 1000g sumps for a larger total water volume for optimal water stability.
  10. Thank you all for your well wishes! Glad you enjoyed the article and pics. Happy reefing (and cheonging )! Dan
  11. Congrats Bruce! Your fishes are awesome!! And your husbandry and dedication to your fishes and reef tank, #1! Thanks for sharing bro. Did you mention bigger tank?? Same here, I'm working on that too. It's a long term plan. Dan
  12. Roidan, I like your analogies. They are so appropriate.
  13. Good SPS shipment at Irwana, lots of nice aquacultured specimens left. Nice colours. Several of each type to choose from.
  14. I saw it recently, it's brown alright. How about we meet up at Scarab's? Or you wanna swing by my place before/after?
  15. When are you free to meet? This weekend or weekday evening?
  16. what an interesting colour! Very nice job on the reef tank DeepBlue!
  17. I appreciate the support all! Gouldian, consider it as part of my national service. 35Cents, do you mean you'd take your "hat off"? I think you'd better keep your clothes on! And thanks for the well wishes. DeepBlue, it's only a matter of time... you're almost there bro! You've got a very nice mixed reef. Once it matures a little more, it'll be a sight to behold. Thanks for the cheers Kevin. I look forward to your new tank setup, it's gonna be great! Dan
  18. Yellow Fin Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus flavidorsalis) For more info on this beautiful 'reef safe' wrasse, check out http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Di...cfm?pCatId=1640 http://www.marinedepotlive.com/yefinfawrfl.html Saw some at Pasir Ris , one of SRC's sponsors to be precise.
  19. Nice scaping bro! And black backing would be nice. It should give a better depth feel. Algae, coralline, etc would be less obvious. Think about it, with no backing or a light colour one (e.g. blue), everything that grows on the glass would stand out. The mixed reef look is nice, plus you have some really sweet LPS and rics/shrooms.
  20. Very nice as always. I like how the poci elegans and monti capitata turned out! Superb!! The millis of course are always stunning, and so are the tenuis. True testament to your reef husbandry! Any plans for a 3rd stream?
  21. Awesome showcases of sps tanks under ATI T5s and reflectors, thanks Frank!
