bro juz curious, the sps frags are normally glued on to a small LR. will the sps encrust that glued portion ? or it will juz expand outwards ? btw they speciements u got are really pretty

i would say common clowns are the next hardest fish after damsels and six line wasse IMO. feed them garlic soaked food and brine shrimps they will grow very rapidly

if u live in seng kang area i would reco T95 if u wanna get clowns. they usually have 5 - 6 tank full when the stock comes in. sizes vary. u can take your time and choose.. the clowns i got from them didnt die because of poor health. they are either killed by other fishes in my tank or my tank crash. 1 even survived when my tank crashed a couple of months back. all the best bro

i think its important that u choose healthy fishes. if there are other fishes in the tank that are surviving then i think your no3 isnt causing much problem. maybe other fishes attacked then ? i have faced such problems before, then i realise that most of the clowns i bought the first time wont healthy. one thing to take note when buying clowns is make sure they are swimming with their fins expanded and respond fast to disturbance. i am raring 4 clowns now. all living happily. the largest one is only about an inch cheers

sorry i dont have any knowledge on other types of glue used for joining acrylics. i know of choloform because i used it in sch for my poject during sec 4 .. after the project was over the pieces that werent done properly before fell off soon after. there are however some that are still intact until now (3 years later) its in a display so i dont know what will happen if i touch it. in my opinion i dont think choloform will not hold very well as there is still the water pressure that the joints has to bare. further more the using a 5mm thick acrylic, the contect point of which both pieces of acrylic meet is very small. if i am not wrong, choloform kinda "melts" the acrylic on both contect surfaces so when both pieces meet it kinda "merge/fuse" together, therefore i think it will only hold if the contect area is large. i wont recommand choloform unless there is not other choices of glue avaliable. i think skill plays an important role too. my input is based on what i have done in secondary school and my expriences that i had with choloform. if there is any points and facts that i had stated wrongly please do correct me cheers cheers

bro if the chloroform u are talking about is the liquid type ( like water) it wont hold very long ... it will fall apart after some time. further more if u accidentally spill some onto the clear acrylic sheet it will leave a stain.

i agree with bro sotong. unless u are willing to do water change weekly, if not u will soon see a layer of brownish stuff on the surface of the water and the chances of your water parameters screwing up is pretty high cheers
