got a clown tang about 2 inches long. i got it for 12 days now. it ate all my hair algae at the begining and now its pecking on my LR. its not taking pellets or frozen brine i throw in everyday. i left some red bamboo in the tank as well.. it also didnt touch it. anyone has any suggestions ? it freaking skinny right now cheers

muhahaha yea i know. got the sense of achievement when its working. i used to do some sunple circuit in the past and one was a water sensor.. i placed it above the fish tank and somehow water got into the circuit and the whole damn thing fried !~ haha

i am gonna change to a 4000 - 4500L/hr pumkp very soon. the protein layer is also building up pretty fast on the surface. since bro colinsoon's design work i will follow his and look up for more tested designs online. if it still doesnt work.. i will stick to my previous method. pumping water in and out using powerheads...

oh well .. we dont really know the actual space they are allocating for that tank if they are building one. anyways if they are really planning to keep one i think they will make sure it survives, or else those animal lovers will kick up a fuss.. a BIG one .. lolz one of the aquariums in japan has a whale shark i think. its possible to keep one i guess .. but its juz a matter of how long can it survive in captivity.... IMO anything that size is meant to be in the sea

hmm... ok to kick start.. i will have to close my ball valve and fill the pipw with water through the pipe connected to the T joint till it full and release the ball valve right ? it will kick start the water flow ?

problematic stuff .. anyone here has a working overflow pipe that works ? can share the dimensions ?

haha nvm i will make another one and test again. i think the diameter of the pipe i used was too wide. will try again with a smaller diameter pipe. if it still doesnt work then i will try with other design. getting a i box will be the last option i guess cheers

if u have alot of those creatures in your tank, i think its better u soak them in FW to kill them.

haha get a grouper or trigger lar .. i am sure they will eat it. those bugger are pretty hardy. they are able to barrow into the sand if its threaten

hey bro i have the same exprience as u. first few attempts my fishes die one by one. stop keeping them for a while and recently got a few more. make sure u dont have any fishes that will attack them. most of mine perish due to attacks cheers
