bro the space above the tank seems very small leh. when your lighting goes in i think u will have problems cleaning the tank

actaully i think it really due to a lack of chiller.. fishes have survived in my tank. i cant keep corals though except for one mushy. the corals will start melting. i have tested my water and everything seems normal. guess i have to get a chiller and try again to see whether its the real caouse. btw the marine aquarium at ericssion pet in pasir ris sells the cleaners at 5 bucks each. med size. u guys might wanna check it out. its the cheapest i ever came across. the shop is alittle hard to spot. go in by the second entrance further down. its at the side. cheers

y dont u juz use an end cap of the pvc pipe as the base ? sure no leak. but it structure will be alittle unstable though

sand shifter star, sand dollar or sand shifter gobies. they will help to clean the sand

haha i think the cheapest is still from reefers. u might wanna post a topic in the pasa malam section. reefers who have extras will pm or directly reply to your post. alot quicker than asking around here

i haven got time to visit any of the sops yet. will do so this weekend. juz asking how much will they charge ? like the range .. i am going for cheapers ones .. dont wanna get overcharge for them. most probably getting plywood since they are the cheapest and wont warp that easily rite ?

erm.. for mine there is a pump on the canister that can pump air out. i dont knoe how yours work. there will be a gushing sound when the pump is starting to get filled it water, after that all the bubbles will come out and the canister will be quiet. haha are u using a spray bar ? if u are then its abit weird leh. normally if the canister is ###### in air.. the bubbles will come out from all the holes of the spray bar, yours come out in a stream lolz.. sorry sis in this case i am not too sure wat the problem is. u might wanna check the pipe which water is being suck into the canister. see whether its tight and no air are getting in

hmm.. check your connection of the pipes for the canister filter. sometimes the joints are not tight and air get in.. goes into your filter and bubbles !~ lolz i used to have this problem with canister

bro chercm no money lar poor student here both my sump and main tank are 3 by 1.5 by 1.5. i am using NO T5 for the main and 2 ft PL 55watts for the sump.... evaporation doesnt really matter i can top up everyday as long as the evaporation dont cause any salt precipitation, my tank is in my room, dont want my stuff to get all salty. i am planning to get those with 4 fan attached together. but how may degrees would it be able to bring down ? btw its the return pump that is producing the heat. before i change the temp of my tank was between 26 - 28 during this time of the year

i juz change my return pump. my water temp shot up reaching 30 degrees in this cold weather !@#$% . i am planning to put a fan to cool down the tank alittle. i was planning to place it in the sump but it is efficient compared to placing it in the main tank ?
