hey i recently got 2 true precular clowns. both eating like there is no tml. juz about a week ago smth started poping out the side of one of one of them. i dont think its a parasite. should i cut off the protuding part with a sharp pair of sissors ? that affacted clown is around 2 inches thanks

sorry i think i miss read your reply. yes there are some aglae growing on the glass panels of which the bubbles form. however when i shifted the sand in the middle of the tank when i am rescaping my tank, bubbles will also float up to the surface.

nopz i got a sand shifter goby so no chance for algae to grow. it has been like that for a while now

sorry to hijack your thread .. but i juz wanna ask, my sand bed is only about 2 maybe 3 inches at the deepest point however i got little bubbles forming. i am using grade 0 sand (very fine) the bubbles are produced all over in the sand bed, i know this because i every stirr the sand before in the past. could it be nitrogen gas ? bubbles only appear ard 2 cm below the surface of the sand

bro Zappy Kiwi, i have not keep a flame angel before but i have kept other small angels. i have been using the "adding and removing" method for all my fishes and all of them survive. bro vtech2 has a point too, get your fishes from more reputable lfs

i am not pro at marine fishes, i dont not have a container to leave the fish in as well. wat i normally do is after making sure that the temp of the water in the bag and the tank is the same, i juz add alittle tank water into the bag. i dont own any high tech equipment so thats what i usually do. btw the adding and removing water part can last up to 2 hrs .. sometimes it takes that long for me
