  2. haha depends on the type of scaping, can see that all the dirt are gathered in two areas haha. u can try experimenting by adding a powerhead and see it the dirt will settle at the corner of the tank. you got large caves making it easier to work with, can play with the water current my scaping was quite different from yours. the base of my rock work is dense (very little gap) made up of big rocks, so quite unreachable. even if i add a powerhead, the dirt will just get blown into another crack or hole some where..... i could only clear particles that settle outside.
  3. blenny will fight for food leh.. haha try getting them to feed first. once they get used to the surrounding they will swim up into the water column and fight for food haha... at least that was wat mine always do when i had a bicolour blenny.

  6. what kind of bottom feeders are you referring to ? if its starfishes and shrimps, they will pick up the scrapes or uneaten food. dont really have to purposely feed them.
  7. has used Bro underwater method before when my tank was bare bottom. however if you have a dense rock work like what i used to, it wont work every well cheers

  10. yoz.. just change my skimmer to Aquanaut AN60 skimmer yesterday, nice bubbles produced, the down fall.... the power head is "chinese"... means u got to get an adaptor... its recirculating, with a haliea needlewheel. fixed everything up and realise i dont know roughly at which flow rate i should use. i am currently using a 2000l/hr pump which is way way too powerful... need some advice on using this type of skimmers cheers
  11. the only hitchhikers i got were a load of crabs and lots and lots of worms.... yea like other bros said, remove the crabs nice looking rocks you have there, lots of quality freebies cheers

  13. haha welcome to the world of reefing. lolz... dont worry too much on the camel shrimp. observe it closely for a couple more days, if its disturbing your corals then remove it haha, they are like some angels, some eats corals others just leave them alone. depend on luck. cheers

  21. haha yea some place sell slightly more than 1 green note. lolz... saw some at pasir ris earlier but dont look too healthy.. quite sian, such a pretty fish but not easy to keep....

  23. 3.5' X 1.5' X 2.5' tank. haha weird dimension but thats the biggest that can fit into my room. mine is a FOWLR tank.
