yup. the aquasentry one is rather decent with a large back-lit LED.

yellow eyed kole tang is a good tang to have. had mine for almost a year. doesn't grow too big but it poos a lot! one of the lesser profile fish but nevertheless a character itself.

Height is not a prob. Good thing about Eheim is the availability of parts. However, it's absolutely your judgement call! Sure you can put the pump directly below the return pvc fitting but sometimes it's not easy to get the length of the pvc "zun zun" correct. thus i like to employ a little flex hose. just my style. Good luck

ammonit, how high do you need to bring return water back to tank? how much is the OR2500? it doens't cost much to run between the Eheim or OR at that wattage. < $4 diff. not that significant to take into consideration i hope. important is to reduce elbows and joints to get max efficienct out of your return pump.

reefer guy, all credit shd be given to yazid who helped me with the internal wiring. i'm actually quite nuts and scared to do electrical stuff until i get my hands dirty! it's rather easy actually. ervine, the contactor is to prolong the life-span of your expensive EH011. cos the live wires from the MCBs could be really hot. another point from yazid. box wise, just get the one the shop recoemmends. i remember it's only a couple of dollars.

here's what i use. MT110A - ON/OFF switches EH011 - timers ES220 - contactor

one dedicated pump for skimmer and another dedicated pump for you return. do a check if the pump is faulty or have some stuff stuck in the impeller? pumps of that size are usually not too noisy, especially submerged.
