remember to thaw the frozen food and rinse it a little with water before feeding. you wouldn't want those extra preservative nutrients to enter the tank. cheers

the shell can be food for your tank mates! normally, it gets wiped out by other shrimps but if it's stuck to a powerhead, just remove it. mushrooms moving ard usually indicate they are not happy with placement, thus looking for a better home. dun think it's dead.

i never had this prob as my fish eat like pigs but i've heard success in dipping food into garlic. just like when we cook, garlic enhances the taste of food sometimes, it's due to stress and once you have lower bioload with proper water parameters, things shd go well. it takes time to learn what to keep and not to keep. now you've learnt about sweetlips, mandarin fish and tangs so do take note. gd luck

it all depends. because they're anemones, they will sting. moving ard increases the chances of stinging your corals but if you have mostly fishes, then it's kind of pretty with it's greenish colour. i used to have 3 but they happen to stay foot at one particular location. best bet is to observe and decide for yourself. like what tanzy says, use kalk to nuke them if necessary

controller allows you to set pulsing action from 30% - 100% for each setting. that simply means you can 'tell' the stream to go 100% for 3 secs and back to 50% for the next 3 secs and then back to 100% for 3 secs....... there's also a red feeding button. if you press it, the stream will stop running so that your fishes will not need to sprint all over the place to catch their food. it will automatically come back on in about 7-8 mins. so you can say goodbye to fogetting to switch on return pump, etc... of course there's also the photoelectric sensor that will activate the setting number 2 (example 50%) when it's lights off, to simulate night. isn't that good enough reason? you can go without the controller first and then add on at a later stage. i'll be selling the 7091 controller onces i get my hands on another stream and 7094!!! haha.

i think a 6010 kit would be good. that means a 6000 stream (7000l/hr) and a 7091 controller. streams are really cool. they move lots of water and not just a narrow jet. have fun.

My vote goes to design #2 and maybe (i say maybe! haha) a polo shirt with optional nick on the sleeves for the hardcores!
