kschew1498, 1. try to remove all nitrate production sources like those cotton u see for the intake. 2. keep the feeding low and do progressive partial water change. 3. get good phospate remover asap to keep < 0.3 4. make sure u get good circulation in yoru tank. your water parameters are not at all disaster so take it easy and monitor your tank. in the meantime, put a hold on stocking. enjoy reefin'

got a Kalk Reactor for sale. reason for selling is that i was ###### enuff to build it 1" too high to sit in my reserved area under the cabinet. unit footprint measures 640mm x 350mm. recirculation points and base pvc-welded to leak proof the reactor. i've fixed a unused eheim 1048 on the unit now. would prefer to sell unit as a whole. those who are seriously interested, please pm me to discuss.

dan, yes i do get a sludge in the upper chamber at times, depending on the adjustment. i can adjust to produce thicker foam which will result in quicker formation of the sludge. (i.e. more frequent cleaning!) cheers
