Guess There should be the main dial to dial down the water level . Lower it down till the indicator or slightly leSs.. Then another dial for air mix. Tune slowly to raise te bubble up 3/4 the neck of collection cup. The water should not overflow... Can start low for a start and let it break in.

Dnsfpl, Based on the chiller on and rest time , assuming the lights on for 10 hrs... The chiller kick in quite often doesn't it? Why don't cut off 26 activate again at 27.5... Then perhaps longer rest period? Anyway I agree with 6ft, compressor is the way to go.

I think for some crabs like hairy crab they will distb the sps. It gets quite a size if not remove. Unless it's fowlr then I think they will just scavenge around for food.

maybe for live sand... you can just get off the shelf packet rather than you scout around for livesand.. For a 2ft tank it shouldnt be deep for your pocket. But if you consider eg carrib sea for a 5ft then.....another story. Think most of the items you need are avail at madpetz and they do deliver , except no livestock.
