i think the newer maxspect G3 has the timer control on the unit itself. somehow i would prefer to have them seperate like the G2.

ok the pic much better. for pump i have seen similar model 6500 series in seaview jln kayu. you can perhaps get the pump there. i see that the pump has is connected to another pipe via a smaller pipe in between. silicon and pipe wont work properly. can try pipe glue if the pump is not immersed in water. alternatively try get a bigger hose to connect between the two pipe...hope i see the pic correctly. pump loud noise -have you check the impeller? maybe its worn or something rubbing against the rotor? grains sand...?

hi! thanks for the input. The rockscape is already done in but maybe adding more in future. The tank has been running for quite a while now so unlikely more movements of the LR. will take note for the water flow in the structure which shouldnt be a problem

thanks! i understand vortech as a wider flow thats why i consider the placment there. Vortech flowrate is adjustable right? i did consider 6105 and 6101...some older model of tunzes seems to be an eyesore in the tank but the new smaller ones doesnt come cheap either. I prefer to have something blending in the tank...and of course price is impt too.

Bro, thanks for the kind comments.My concern is just to get some turnover and movement of water at the middle and bottom area so detritus not accumulated at the same time add some movement to the water.thats all.

Hi.thanks.the two output create quite a movement on my water surface. the output nearer one the front of the glass tank is just a bonus while the other elbow a the other end is the main one..Anyway its configurable as the piping are line against my bracing if i decide to change. 1264 is IMO enough for my tank as i have been running it for quite sometime.

hi.thanks. the return is branch out from a single pipe on the tank bracing. the one nearest to the front has less flowrate than the one at the back. with the overflow movement and the return flow pipe meet together it gives a good surface movement. the return has 2 elbow sticking immersed in the water ..dun wish to add a longer pipe in.

Hi all.. Need some recommendation. planning to get a wavemaker soon. The tank has already surface movement with the return pipe outlet from return pump eheim 1264. the left corner in the picture is the overflow and underflow. I want to create some undertow and water movement between the dead spot behind and infront the LR/corals(dark grey patch) as shown in picture. Is a single mp40(in yellow) able to do this ? or should i get with tunze 3095+6055. Please advise. Can refer to my simple diagram.

Nice chichlids you have inside. I am sure the cabinet and the tank will make a nice setup. What happen to the other tank and is there a sump for the 5ft?

Maybe you might want to clean it up first. If the ventilation fins are trap with dust and such it may let the chiller work harder. try to monitor these few days and if the problem still persist you may want to consider a controller.
