Have one brand new 80w aquablue special for trade with new Blue plus . Another Aquablue special use for about 6hrs trade with blue plus or actinic.

Use only one bag . i dump it in the first compartment with LR and two tother bags of small size porous media and left it there. I read somewhere from the box before need to have some good flowrate for it to work more effectively. Anyway directly above are my two filter socks from my overflow pipes and it works just fine. Nitrate at low level.

i have two of these for 5ft plus additional pumps.. best have two so can sync. like some others mention the flow is wide so other areas may have some dead spot which easily can cover by additional wavemaker. the position of the pump also depends on your tank rock layout. the dryside is place exterior and the wetside interior of the glass and they magnetized together each half. properly aligned it should run without a problem.

In think some Most Colour test kit need a sharp eye to actually differentiate the Colour as some Colour is neither here nor there according to chart.

I am running a haelia chiller 1/2 hp. Few days ago the chiller seems to be taking a very long time to bring down the temp to 26deg which i had not experience before. I am running on external controller. 26 stop...28 deg start again. my tank is a 5x2.5. i am running the flow into the chiller by a 3000l/h pump T off to a carbon and phosphate reactor in series.. the min flowrate for the chiller is 1000-3000l/h. I also have two wavemakers inside the tank itself besides the pair of vortech. I try calibrate the controller and its the temperature difference flunctuates slightly. i have two other basic digital temp monitor. I have open up the chiller and found no leaks and has clean the internals and cooling fins. Any chance the flow input is the issue or chiller need some top up etc?

one out of 4 ebllast may be faulty. Open to consider trade of twin retrofit by DE or similar plus top up from buyer .

5ft t5 set for sale. 4 tubes by delightings. come with 4 Ati tubes. 2 tubes replaced recently. Letting go cheap at $200 as one eballast may be faulty.pm me for enquiries.

If partial water change then it may not be worth the $ if often. Perhaps can invest in ro/di setup but still need salt mix.

My RBTA used to stay put on one location for quite a while. Recently two months back it went missing one morning when i look into the tank. I notice it started to shift itself to another location. The following check again...i just saw some remains on my vortech... No need explain you get the picture. Luckily mine is an oversized skimmer.

I know they selling this on a website. Thought you managed to get locally. The quality does look.... But as long it suits it's purpose it's gd enuf .

This dosing pump is amazIngly godsend. Really take the hassle of manually dosing once you get it right. I also plan to get the 4 dosing pump . Way cheaper as it suppose to ride on the main unit .

The frequent kicking in will cost you the $$. I thought you have an external thermostat already?

before you go off spending more $$ on a higher flowrate pump, are you using an external thermostat/? make sure its calibrated. I think 2000l/hr pump is fine for the chiller as i am using the same chiller as yours. mine is using and atman 3000l/hr but i T off with an adjustable valave to FR so effectively the flowrate is less than that and it works fine. There is a sticker with the minimal flowrate on the chiller.

I am using 250w double end though. Hamilton 14K with a bluish tint..Not full blue spectrum. Diffrent manufacturer will have slight variations to their spectrum range on the bulbs. Need to checkout the reviews.
