innovative. i have seen another similar one but they add something inside a bottle and it glows even at night. from discovery channel. I guess his works during the day but hats off to him for making a difference in peoples life.

most syphon from main tank and if barebottom they remove the detritus too. if you siphone from surface the air may go inside the tube but i guess it shouldnt matter much. u siphon at same time remove those leftover food etc. some change evry week, some once two weeks some 20% end month..some nvr change and swear by their tank still survives. which ever works. but i prefer 20% end month.lol
