Would a chiller which is rated twice the capacity of my tank be able to cool faster if I had more rocks? I have A 500l shallow tank + 100l sump. More rocks means less water. But the fact that the chiller is rated double shouldn't be a problem even if the rocks are much less? Right ?

The t5 in the picture looks like a DE lightset..

I think the bar holder may need two. The other one nearer the bottom end. I had almost same setup install rear of cabinet using the mazarra light mounts. For added safety.With only one there might have some free play movement.

You must see your house if have space for the compressor or not. Some have a small Aircon balcony. Must consider the piping / probe that is running from the compressor to the tank if require drilling or going through walls and such.. So it depends on the feasibility of having a compressor.
