Sunkist Orange Zoas?

If $ is not a problem... why headache?
-
Last time I use to run a NR1000 and the dissolve Deniballs look something like that... although yours look really really horrible
-
It depends on the brand I guess... my Grotech Magnesium Instant instruct me to dose directly into a high flow sump instead of dripping. Just follow the intructions on the label. As for the local lettuce... I've stopped and rely on seaweed instead. I notice my FoxFace pooed pieces of lettuce... undigested...

The 2 mountains rock scape is quite nice... are those my old LR?

Aiyo... stop guessing lah... it's just a simple transparent acrylic tube lah... a 4ft tall FR... custom-made... tallest the manufacturer has ever produced
-
Err... that 10 tubes ATI Powermodule almost covers my entire footprint
-
Hello... you think I need to carry my own tank or sump???
-
Emm... I think it's better to add the Magnesium to your sump in high flow area... you might upset the ionic balance by adding a large amount of Magnesium (relative) into a well-balanced salt mix.

Collect my new toy from AM just now... had a word with Janet... all I can say is... don't spend a single cent this weekend What's in store next weekend is very very exciting Will take some pix tomorrow... my new toy can barely fit into my car boot
-
You made that test kit yourself? Very creative But I will suggest getting a more reliable test apparatus for your Sg... a refractometer perhaps Magnesium is a tad low... try to raise it to at least 1300
-
DBS I think... not sure about the rest... I heard they will offer SUPER SALE on all products to celebrate the opening of their Katong branch... but only "wind" lah
-
Next year is only months away... and I will suggest you cycle your tank for at least 6 months... which means you gotto get your tank ready by next month

Here's what I did this morning... 1) Moved that filing cabinet away... gosh I am running out of space... papers and folders everywhere 2) Placed a powerful fan in front of the chiller air inlet... connected to Aquatronica, will kick-in together with the chiller. Gotto bear in mind the fan consumes 50W on its own 3) Placed my in-sump Aquatronica temperature probe to monitor the temperature surrounding the chiller. Currently, room temperature (chiller resting) 26.3ºC, tank temperature 26.1ºC.

Hi bro Colinsoon... I like it when you ask questions With the information provided by Aquatronica... it will be a "crime" to ignore that fact that something ain't right... and just let the chiller continue to "sucks" the Middle East dry I spent some time studying it... and here are just some thoughts... will continue to focus on this issue till it is resolved. More to come

A reefer will come over my office during lunch time tomorrow... need an extra brain to figure things
-
Yes very possible... the blockage is the main source... will add a fan tomorrow (connect to the chiller) so that they kick-in together... use the fan to circulate the air surrounding the chiller... will definitely help Installing an exhaust fan is the best... but there is not window nearby I might explore relocating the chiller too

Ok guys... if the graph above doesn't make much sense... IT DOESN'T MAKES SENSE AT ALL I misread the graph... the situation is very serious (opposite of my previous post)... the chiller runs for 5 hours at night to bring down 1ºC!!! I moved some furniture around yesterday... I think I know the source of the problem... I believe I accidentally blocked the chiller air inlet (or having my cabinet too close it)... will immediately rectify the problem tomorrow morning Will post another graph 2 days later... sorry for the confusion
-
As planned... my Arctica 1/3hp chiller is back to acceptable level... running 7 hours a day (4 kick-ins)... before changing to T5 the chiller runs for at least 9 hours (5 kick-ins) daily From the graph below, lighting is still the main heat contributor... besides... 1) Tunze Streams... during lighting hours, my 4 Tunze Streams will pulse from 30% to 100%, after lighting hours, they will remain at 30%, generating less heat at night. 2) Lighting for my 2ft tank... ATI PM 2ft x 4 tubes. After studying the graph closely, my current equipments are not generating much heat... it took 5 hours to rise 1ºC (8.30pm to 1.30am, 3am to 8am)... not bad at all... I think my investment in good equipments does pay-off in the long run

Wait lah... I will cross promo again tomorrow
-
I need boiling hot water for "quick melt"... furthermore if I keep drawing salt water from the tank... then I will have to make up for it (by adding saltier water) Not a good idea IMO
