  1. Here's a BLUE shot... runs 11 1/2 hours per day (1 hour before main, 1 hour after main)
  2. Don't be shocked by it bro Fishtalk... this species is known to have great polyps extension I change about 15% water every 2 months (using salt mix)... main lighting (8 x 54W) runs for 9 1/2 hours
  3. Latest FTS... stirred the sand bed a little
  4. Lazy buggers... just sit and wait Bro how's ur flow? They look like clinging very tight... is the flow too high?
  5. A Blue Neon Goby to help clear up any left over food on the sand bed
  6. Introduced 2 relatively large Glass Anemone Shrimps to help maintain the sandbed a little Gotto look for the largest specimens to avoid looking like SH bite-size
  7. Went LFS shopping today... bought a piece of Green Grape to help keep nutrients in check... immediately my male SH grows a fondness towards it
  8. Well... the uneaten food will settle to the bottom (for the time being)... I am slowly introducing critters and cleaning crew to take care of that... and due to the low flow in my tank... diatom and algae are somewhat inevitable (at least for the initial phase). Here's a WAKE UP CALL
  9. Yupe... gotto feed them in small portions constantly... be prepared
  10. A place where Ah Lians hang out
  11. Some Purple/Blue Mushrooms I bought recently... the colour is very intense
  12. Breeding is definitely something that I will be learning and experiencing soon... you are always welcome to return to the dark side A macro shot of my Red Grape... seems like the grapes are expanding... but what's with that green layer of algae?
  13. Hehe... who's the doctor? Something green to share...
  14. Here's a video clip to share... it's nice to see them in a feeding frenzy... but starving SHs is no laughing matter... do practice caution when purchasing SH
  15. Hi bro Reefzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz All my Brazilian Reidis already feeding frozen mysis when I bought them over from a reefer... they also take frozen brine shrimps and Arcti-Pods Try to look for tank bred specimens... best is to get the LFS to feed them before purchasing
  16. Dun worry too much bro... just wait for another 2 weeks before introducing any LS... i know it's hard to endure
  17. Really happy to see some serious foaming... I think this skimmer will be able to sustain a "sensibly" stocked tank
  18. The heroes of my tank A lot of time, reefers just complaint about algae problems... asking why why why... it could just be as simple as a couple more critters to balance the system... that's why they are called the CLEANING CREW Everything exists for a purpose... that includes Mantis Shrimps
  19. A couple of hours later... amazing result!
  20. This is 12 hours later (this morning) Amazing job done during the night
  21. I was very upset with one of the Tonga branches (shown here)... the algae bloom is ruining everything But luckily I remembered the Turbo Snails... I moved them (by force) over yesterday before I knock off... and transferred a snail from my main tank to help out
  22. Dominik was just kidding lah... he where got so "small gas"
  23. Hehe... bro Dominik's refugium is also a good home lah But of course I have better photography... I can make your Seahorses the STARS
