  1. hey jeff, i hope this is the case  hope that it is not rare clam diseases since i have not been adding any clam lately. the big one from your is the last addition. :paiseh:

hehehe... zoa is much easier and beautiful in colour. now i also like some of the leather corals. and i work at kovan and GO is just about 4 bus stop away. can't resist the temptation to drop by there everywhere during my lunch hour :pinch: after bought a few colonies over few months, realized that my tank is too small to keep anymore colonies :pinch:

I am into Leathers too :D (not that kinda leather) Those hairy fingers are very nice :)

  2. Congrat Bo..., I have this lens also Carl Zeis 16-80DT it's sharp lens but distortion is bad in my opinion. What macro lens you use now?

Bad distortion? <_< Damn! Then what kinda lens am I suppose to use? G series? :pinch: I'm using the Sony 50mm F2.8 Macro :) Gotto get a telephoto too before the trip :nc:

  3. Unfortunately, my orange star started to lose some of its flesh at the tip of its leg after just one day.

Today, it start to spread to the rest of the legs.

What is wrong with it? :cry2: Anyone have any suggestions?

The rest of the LS is doing fine.

Did you acclimatize the Starfish before introducing to your tank? Don't think that's a COCO btw

  4. Is is a good deal at $4? Or did i over pay? haha...

Somehow i feel that seafans doesn't really last long, so am going to use this as a guage whether the tank water parameters are good...

    Great looking tank!

    $4 is definitely a good deal :D

Yes, Seafans are difficult to keep alive for a long period of time... personally, I find them less critical to water conditions... but feeding it frequently with coral food (for filter feeders) and appropriate flow pattern are the key :) I am a seafan enthusiast too :D

    All the best!

  5. bro, very nice tank. btw, can i check how do u target feed your prata on the sandbed.. i don't seems to be able to reach them.. my is 2.5" tall. Any advise

My tank is 2 ft tall only... that makes life a lot easier :D I use a pair of stainless thong (sometimes I use plastic thong) to reach the sand dwellers :)
