  1. Aiya bro... u so "slow motion"... u missed the thread about "getting your girl a pink nano cube for $30"??? lol... all the bros here already bought one for their girl... u think why JBJ lose money also sell pink nanos... for the sake of humanity!?!
  2. Thanks bro I will do just that... I think your 2 cents is worth $2000!!!
  3. YEah just bring home and enjoy the panoramic view... oh how I wish I can fit a 4' tank into my tiny study room
  4. Thanks bros... I shall wait for another week before I go panic again, lol... I might need to relocate it anyway coz my 4 SPS frags will arrive mid this week... so excited!!! Bro Raydiative... ok lor... if not open in week 4, I will let you know... wait wait wait
  5. I got it from PR... Reefdepot also selling at $15 per box, contains 2 parts: Coral Fix - 112 g (4 oz.) Epoxy resin based adhesive for safe attachment of coral offshoots on stone substrates. Dyed red, similar to calcareous algae, suitable especially for coral reef aquarium. Haha another Tunze Review... why not, lol. Oh I am revealing now... my new custom tank will use ONLY Tunze stuff, lol.
  6. Yeah bro... and now u'll get your 4ft tank soon!!!
  7. Ok guys... here's my pathetic looking Orange Sun Coral (aka Orange Sponge)... I positioned it quite high up, but slightly shadowed by the vertical LRs... water current there is medium to strong (as recommended by LiveAquaria)... been there for 5 days. Do I wait a while longer or start looking for a new location for it? in advance!
  8. True true... it happens all the time... but in fact... that's the truth right?
  9. Yalor... spoiling some $1 chromis some more... so funny! Wait they will have the chance to starve once I start travelling... come to think of it... I think we treat our fishies better than we treat ourselves... when was the last time we think about the air we breathe on... the air circulation at home (water current)... nutritions and variations... scaping...oxygen level... pH... we sometimes "bo chap" our own drinking water, lol!!!
  10. Bro hondaker: I use Marinium Zooplankton and Argent Cyclop-eeze... sometimes add Aquaz Phytoplankton too (just for variation sake). Will look for other brand of zooplankton for variation... target feed them every 2 days. Live food for sea fan? Have yet to experience that. Bought a bag of Live Brine Shrimp last week and they seem to be too large for the sea fan to consume... but my fishies going all crazy!!! Bro Raydiative: It's worth the effort... aiya just complaining only la... but deep down I want the best for them... I am free at home after work anyway... at least I find feeding sea fans more entertaining than watching Channel U, lol! Money??? Of course well spent la... come to think of it... we are considered very lucky to be able to buy our passion with money... some ppl got money but dunno how to find passion
  11. Oh I got at least 1 in my tank too... clicking sound every night, mostly at night after the light is off... very annoying!!! Sometimes, I afraid the sound of glass cracking... u guys know how thin my Nano Cube is right? lol Oh NO!!! Everybody is downgrading...
  12. Why don't you target feed your sea fan? Em... your sea fan looks extremely healthy to me... perhaps no need la. How long has the sea fan been with you? For me, I dilute some Zooplankton (powder) and Cyclop-eeze (powder) in some tank water, use a 5ml syringe (that comes with the Salifert test kits) to target them slowly... usually 3 rounds, 3 mins intervals... damn time consuming I must say... been with me for 3+ weeks already
  13. Very nice and clear shot of the Sun Coral... still not happy? Wait till u see my Orange Sun Coral... pathetic (after 5 days in my tank), so ashamed to do any posting, lol. After a while... I just have to accept it as a very expensive Orange Sponge
  14. Hehe bro duck already told me roughly how much... lol, I better start saving if I want an upgrade like this by 2008!!! Probably not gonna happen anyway... well I'll just have to stay with bro duck to experience his journey all the way...
  15. hehe... saw his previous tank... agree, the clam will be more than just surviving... I love the way u organize your electrical away from the sump... IMO all custom tanks with sump should be designed with better safety in mind (like yours) I will copy some of your electrical plan for my new tank... hehe hope you don't mind
  16. My fishes only eat moving stuff... so if I off the pump, they will ignore the submerging pellets and so on... spoilt brats, lol
  17. Gorgeous sea fan!!! Very healthy and well spread specimen... what u use to target feed the fan? Is the purple sponge hard to keep? Very nice purple colour
  18. Ur welcome... do keep us all update ok? Pix Pix Pix
  19. From another reefer... he is kind enough to offer me "buy 1 get 3 free", lol. Will collect from him mid this week, he is staying near my place... hehe I know you are a kind soul too... hint hint Oh I actually bought a box of Tunze Coral Fix... yet to experiment with it... 3M better or Tunze better?
  20. Look who's creeping behind my clam Nº2
  21. Cool bro!!! Bring back some fans la! I bought mine for $15. What about SPS? You know how much here selling right? Bring back some SPS... well worth the effort
  22. Yeah that's a very unusual choice for a first inhabitant... I hopt your clam will survive
  23. Looks who's creeping behind my Clam Nº2? I hope the Orange Sea Star is not too hungry... oyster yum yum
  24. Aiya... tell your dad this is your passion... calculate all the wattage and show him la... I don't think your set up is draining too much juices... as for me, guilty as charge with my MH and chiller (the 2 heavyweights). No lah, don't waste more money downgrading... your tank got so much potential... how the hell u gonna achieve this kinda scaping with a 1 ft tank? Don't end up like mine, lol
