Hehe Germany made tank surely >$500 la... But u will definitely need a sump right? So custom is much more suitable for your needs. -
Very healthy looking clams... should've gotten a smaller 2nd clam like you... my clams are both fighting for attention...
-
Although I am so taken away with this new tank... I will still keep my old tank in perfect condition... talking of which it's time to do some water change Changed to Aqua Medic Reef Salt and bought DT Phytoplankton to feed my corals tonight.
-
Wah u guys really shopping spree... I gotto stop shopping LS for a while now... but hey, 3ft gonna allow me plenty of room for LS later!!! Nice stars btw... those are the non-aggressive purple legged boxer?
-
Yes the system is at the back (around 6 inches thick)... go download their manual, u will have a clearer picture. Also comes with a powerful AM Skimmer. I am avoiding overflow... too troublesome... yes they do have extra large tanks, with sump too. I think I heard the LFS saying... "if you don't like the cabinet, can custom your own stand too"... but sorta defeat the purpose of the Percula I think.
-
Hehe I still have my Reefpack 500 remember? I think it should be alright... Aqua Medic product can be trusted lah... the entire tank + cabinet made in Germany.
-
The Percula 90 comes with a built-in system... Berlin style... very efficient and no fuss. Go to their website to check it out. You can download the manual too... cool 3D drawings
-
Em... the UV problem is quite possible... check ur MH bro, maybe damaged or simply too old. I also suspect problems with your test kits. I usually keep 2 sets of kits (different brands) in case one fails... yeah get a LFS to test for you is a very good idea Don't give up... u already have all the equipments... try not to flood them in the Pasar Malam section as it is already very flooded, lol. Good luck to you.
-
Thanks guys for all the beautiful suggestions... I've made up my mind... in fact tank delivery next Tuesday Aqua Medic Percula 90 I didn't take the entire set though as the price is a bit steep and I find the lighting not to my liking... will probably source for a more suitable MH lighting.

But some bro also planning to downgrade... so the views are quite conflicting... of course in the end of the day due to many factors lah! For example: 1. Space 2. Money 3. Time 4. Objective 5. LS -
You guys are so nice and encouraging... trying to rip my tank apart You guys are sending the wrong info out to the newbies reading this thread... sunburst eating clams and so on... Ok guys... let me announce my new tank tonight... after I confirm with the LFS. Guess what? 2ft or 3ft or 4ft?
-
Sunburst dangerous? Bro can u pls explain more? I thought they are reef safe...
-
-
Nice bro... I notice u have that Ammonia alert thingy on your glass... is it useful?
-
Oh I didn't know got purple head one... lol Btw will my Sand Sifting Star poses any threat to my corals and lovely clams? Guys, do help me to identify potential problematic LS... next 2 weeks will be the best time to remove them (not dispose of course... go to charity).

That's a very good idea actually... I can have a reef tank and a FOWLR tank... yeah!!! I can have my Juvenile Emperor Angel finally!!! -
I will also attack with my claws... err nets. Remember, I am shifting all of them soon? So maybe the Boxer can go to charity... lol
-
Yeah and I can feel you are as much in love as Mr and Mrs Clowns... treat him nice-nice... this kinda bf where to find? lol Sorry Just envy u coz my partner doesn't seem to be interested with tank at all...

Yeah u guys trying to change my mind again?!? lol... Try harder :-p Yes, AM Chromis is good... but AM Percula is better Will get more details from LFS tomorrow before deciding. I will be so officially broke after this tank... -
Yeah... don't think they grew inside my tank... prob comes with it... remember I picked this nice specimen from a LFS and still get a $3 discount coz I act "tidak apa" lol... so funny. Confirm my Boxer is neither a "Ah Beng" nor a "Mafia"... he welcomes guests to his chamber without any sign of distress on either party... so good news!
