  1. Can show a pix? Visited any LFS lately? Everybody is LFS shopping... except me
  2. Oh that Phosphatfilter is such an eyesore... gonna fix it Sunday. Buy a new pump and piping tomorrow. My Nitrate is 20, I am quite worried... what can I do while saving up for my Nitratreductor?
  3. Wow 7 Fairy Wrasses in your tank... do they group like Anthias?
  4. You can entice it with some frozen brine shrimp or mysis. Just pour on it a bit... they will then open up. Once they open, I usually use a syringe to feed 1 shrimp to 1 polyp at a time. It's fascinating to see how sticky their tentacles are
  5. Wow a technical expert here... hehe... we all must agree that what bro Maxstar81 did is very experimental, wanted to do that for the longest time... monitoring my tank from office... perhaps we need to explore other ways of getting it to work. Bro Maxstar81 whatever it is... keep up the spirit... you might revolutionise the way we post our tank updates... imagine... moving images showing feeding, water changes, mating activities, rare sightings... all sorts
  6. The water flow is directed upwards... so a tiny water feature on the water surface, lol. Will update you guys on my Phosphate level... hopefully will go down to 0 in a few days time
  7. Ok guys... I did something very adhoc just now... added the AM Phosphatfilter (contains Antiphos) to keep the Phosphate level under control. I know it looks horrible... just temporary until I get a new pump and free up some space at the back compartments. I also need to get a 'U' tube. Any idea how long it takes for Antiphos to kick-in? Current Phosphate level is 0.25... not a lot, but I don't want to wait for a major algae bloom then only do something about it.
  8. Nope... that's why I can't figure out...
  9. Quite stunning!!! Those Zoos are pretty too
  10. Shockingly beautiful!!! The only thing is... that extra long black thing on the sea floor
  11. Wah bro... so nice and generous of you Will let u know when that day comes... hopefully don't have to wait too long
  12. Bro I think the Phillipines one looks nicer leh... more striking But maybe less rare lah. They do look like a mating pair to me How's ur LFS shopping with other bros? Surprise me!!!
  13. Em... Nitrate is still a little on the high side... I must do something about it Phosphate is also detectable at a low range... so expecting the arrival of algae bloom pretty soon Running both my AM Turboflotor and Tunze DOC now
  14. Bro I still can't see it Can't access the site. Tried using both Mac and PC.
  15. Lovely skimmate... How come it's so green?
  16. I think thats a Star Polyps... nice coral. Here's a pix of mine 30 mins I introduce to my Nano tank. Mine's green, it comes in various colours.
  17. Oh yeah... someone told me lor... thanking me so u should know who Removing the bulb is a bit tricky, must use strength. Push to the left (spring very strong), then lift the right side. Be careful not to crush the bulb, lol. Actually not too hard la, just try.
  18. Bro I heard you bought a similar light right? So far so good...
  19. I heard u guys mention Henry's food... what is it actually? Although ML is a bit out-of-the-way for me, but if his secret recipe is worth the trip... I will make the trip
  20. Hehe my Leopard Wrasse spotted!!! So it's still alive
  21. I should start looking for a new partner!!! lol
  22. Oh everybody is getting married... is this a good year to tie the knots? If yes, I better start planning... still hv 7 months to go...
  23. Em... the tank looks a bit dark on the back (the 4th Actinic tube). Maybe you wanna try move it to 3rd row to get a more evenly distributed lighting. Or you can't coz controlled by the power plugs. I must say that the lighting looks picture perfect to me Your new green Alveopora has not open? Do post a pix of it open big-big... must be very impressive
  24. Yeah it helps to have a focus LS. One that is larger in size and with spectacular colour. Or else, all your tiny LS will blend in too much. I am also looking for that "hero"... but will go slow as my tank is still settling.
  25. Hehe no casulaties this morning!!! (Not that I expect any, actually) In fact 1 of my Cleaner Shrimp molted!!! Here's my Tunze DOC Skimmer, finally kicking-in. The clear skimmate is from yesterday... lazy to clear away
