  1. You guys think I should remove it tomorrow? Or let it rot? I am quite convinced the Prata is gone liao Let this be a very expensive lesson in choosing/buying Prata... and the worst part is... there will be many more lessons to come
  2. I know... it's worse than yesterday
  3. Yupe, I have Blue Gorgonia too... you can target feed... they react very quickly one... fun to watch
  4. Err... I didn't know I'm that good... anyway... I am the one selling frag... $50 for Red Prata
  5. Em... I am not too sure bro...
  6. Post pics I wanna see the foam and the skimmate, also show the position of the blue knob. Thanks!
  7. I read an article linked by bro Iantoh... some Elegance are plagued with unidentified disease... probably mine is just taking a bit longer to settle down (considering the big fluctuation of Sg yesterday)... I fed it Reefroid just now and the tentacles reacted to it
  8. Lol!!! I still dunno what that creature is
  9. Wah nice shopping trip... I got a feeling I know where u bought those small Hammer frags... saw those few days back
  10. So confirm (as recommended by Liveaquaria), they need strong light (which I have ) and medium to strong flow... and occasional feeding... how often we need to target feed em?
  11. And I heard it's bloody $$$ Of course lah... oyster egg leh... now when was the last time I had oyster? Can't remember
  12. What's in ur FR again? You mention something like Rowaphos Pro from another reefer... can u elaborate more so that we can figure out why ur FR is not doing its job? Is ur 9005 working well?
  13. Wah how long the Clove Polyps been with you? Mine thinning away... since Nano dayzzz
  14. Yeah so cute... have not seen one before... Ok bro Colinsoon (aka Master Soon)... PIX PIX PIX
  15. A very nice colour specimen u got there... mine slightly darker red
  16. You sure you can't fit it on the left side of your tank? Prob too high as the water level will be too low for it to operate properly, just like my tank. Will study it properly before buying (for sure). Then, your T5 may also block it, right? If your tank is still ok by the 20th next month... don't really see a need for you to get the MCE600
  17. Hehe... bro although changing water will help... do not overdo it. Don't think water change alone can get rid of the problem. Everytime you change 20% of the water, by right should only remove 20% of your NO3 content (that is if you top up saltwater with 0 NO3). For your case... I hate to suggest this... you may need to rely on chemicals to bring NO3 down to acceptable level. Then seriously consider a Denitrator. Note: I tried Seachem De*Nitrate and it doesn't work for me Hey I still have about 450ml... if you want, I can pass to you... but don't expect any result I gotten rid of it once I bought my Aqua Medic Nitratreductor 1000
  18. No I will feed now!!!
  19. No, not lengthy at all!!! I will place the Gonios based on your experience. Will feed them Reefroid later
  20. Time for advertisement... IMO Reefroid is a much superior version of Argent Cyclopeeze. They are very very fine, my Blue Gorgonia reacts to Reefroid a lot faster than any other food form. In comparison, if Reefroid is Grade 0 sand, Cyclopeeze is at least Grade 2. When I feed Cyclopeeze to my Sea Fan, usually they don't react as fast as the particles are a lot larger. Price wise, Reefroid is at least 3 times more expensive compared to Cyclopeeze. This product is distributed by Aqua Mart (Jalan Besar), created by a Canadian company called Polyp Lab (www.polyplab.com)... they also created the Reef-reshâ„¢ that I am currently using. Hehe
  21. No I will buy with the guys... now what am I gonna put in the extra compartment? ... let's not dilute bro Hammy's thread
  22. The Aqua Medic Nitratreductor 1000 is finally working!!! NO3 in main tank: 10 Water collected from the outlet of the denitrator... a little bit of "bad-egg" smell though This is good news... but with a flow of only 1 gallon/hour... how much time does it take to efficiently reduce my tank's NO3? Good news: It works!!! Bad news: It will take 75 hours to run through the entire tank... I think I need 2 denitrators running at the same time
  23. Yeah I heard about that product... but in terms of naming, I think they chose a very bad name... Vita = Vitamin, Chem = Chemical???
  24. Judge on my past records... most probably I will sell you
