  1. Hahaha... no wonder... ok current offer by bro Chrislzh is $50 Yumas will only come in if offer reaches $60
  2. I dunno... I always find additives more affordable (in the long run) in powder form... and I don't mind doing a little bit of mixing before hand... the best is of course to get a CR and a Kalk reactor lah! Ohh... if I have a sump, I would have already gotten both of them... no need to dose here... dose there... dose now... dose tomorrow... haiz
  3. Wow... $60!!! I will include in a colony of Yumas (3 to 4 mouths, brown/orange, largest 3.5" diameter) Looking at the response... I will close this sales thread earlier than expected... bros and sis... your last offer should come in before 11.59pm today (Thursday). The lucky winner can collect from Woodlands Ave 2 Friday onwards... after working hours.
  4. All the dosing does bring up my Density (Sg) a bit... an increment of 0.0005 can be detected using my Aquatronica... preparing for a 5% water change this weekend. Also, will relook at the current flow... there are still dead spots towards the lower back of the tank... will introduce another Stream 6000 this weekend (hopefully)... need to get 3 pairs of magnet also
  5. Hehe... so happy... finally my Mg is back on track... from a low of 1080 Magnesium: 1320ppm Test kit: Tropic Marin Method: Using Tropic Marin Bio-Magnesium (AragaMilk helped in bringing Mg up too) Target: 1350ppm Calcium: 345mg/L Test kit: Tropic Marin Method: Using only AragaMilk for 1 week (stopped dosing Kalkwasser) will try Tropic Marin Bio-Calcium if AragaMilk costs too much to sustain desired calcium level - lowest Ca 310mg/L Target: 420mg/L Alkalinity: 7ºkH - 8ºkH Test kit: Tropic Marin and Salifert Method: Using Grotech kH+Ca 1 Target: 9ºkH Also... been doing some research on Mg, Ca and kH... trying to understand more how they depend/react to each other... Expect to hit my targets in 2 to 3 days time... then can start preparing for my PHASE 2 already
  6. Uhh... the Finger does look very very nice... it's hard to resist
  7. Oh dear... when will the battle ever gonna stop?
  8. Possible... becoz you do not provide sufficient light... the LPS and polyps and mushrooms perished... causing your tank to have a considerable amount of Ammonia... furthermore your tank doesn't have sufficient N.Bact to help break down... so you're stuck with high Ammonia. Don't worry, observe your remaining corals. On your WHITE lights around 6 hour a day for the next 3 days, then increase to 8 hours. See if your corals are decaying/rotting, if yes, try to remove them from the tank, if can't remove (stuck to LR) then switch on your protein skimmer to run full blast! Continue to add bacteria starter. And don't add any LR or fishes at the moment... perhaps some snails if your algae is getting a bit out of control (after you switch on your WHITE light). All the best bro
  9. Hey bro... how about some pix of your tank... been a long while since you last posted
  10. No PM from bro Beaver... still at $50 by bro Mxxxxxxxxx
  11. As promised mah... if reaches $45... have to add another piece already
  12. Hahaha... ok a piece of rock with 3 Green Mushroom... intense dark green
  13. If the offer keep on going up... I will have to improve in customer service already If the offer exceeds $70, I will: 1) Deliver the Hammer to your doorstep 2) Deliver in a pail (dunno where to find a large enough plastic bag to fit this guy, scared damage it also) 3) Deliver fully submerged in my tank water
  14. The Hammer is getting too large for my tank bro Beaver... emm... can you PM me more info about your 2 month old tank? I need to know at least the size of your tank, your current LS if not too long to list and most importantly the lighting you are using right now... I do not want reefers to waste money also Once I received your PM, I will announce if your $55 offer is official or not.
  15. Mind take a photo of it? Wonder how a half dyed Pink Finger looks like
  16. I'm using my Aquatronica to control my Arctica
  17. Yes... you should be worry about the monthly utility bill and the maintenance of the 2nd hand CL280. Best is if you can bring it down to 26ºC. So the chiller will kick in 27ºC-27.5ºC (depending of chiller brand). There are a lot of advantages of chilling your water at 26ºC - 27ºC. Make sure you get a sufficiently-powered chiller... or else... it's gonna be very hard to reach 26ºC. Not a guru... but how you manage to bring your temperature to 27ºC? Using air conditioning unit? Don't forget that you can't "on" your air-con at the same time everyday... what if you go for holidays? For a reef tank, fluctuation is bad... coz in the ocean... the temperature is pretty much stable and consistent... at least they don't fluctuate much within a day. So a chiller is almost a must if you want to keep nice, happy and beautifully thriving corals. Just my 2 cents... some may differ.
  18. Don't think Iceprobe will do the job in the long run... get a proper chiller... again depending on your budget, bear in mind a CL280 consumes 280W (if they do not under rate in the first place)... the Arctica 1/5Hp I am using right now only consumes 150W!!! The difference can be significant in the long run...
  19. Brought back from Norway... so so tempted to feed my fish with Norwegian Salmon Caviar Actually this can was contaminated as it exploded due to cabin pressure... so don't dare to eat Too bad the ingredients consist of oil... or else
  20. Received an offer for $50... from a bro Mxxxxxxxxx
  21. I tried Aquapharm Bacter Starter when I started my Nano the last time... good and quite reasonably priced Just remember to off your protein skimmer... or else u will see blue skimmate. WHAT??? Without WHITE lights... almost all ur corals will rot!!!
