  1. Oh the flooring is not parquet timber... some industrial heavy duty floor laminate... so shouldn't have much problem... oh I can't wait to invite you guys over
  2. The sump is not ready... still in the design stage I am still finalizing the equipments... so Steve will do the sump according to my final selection... which includes CR and KR Expect the sump to arrive next week... it will be a mixture of clear and black glass (I heard)
  3. Not the overflow box, I like the idea very much... it's the cabinet covering the overflow box... somehow doesn't look right (see pix below)... and I need a material to see-thru my Aquatronica and Tunze Multicontroller 7095 that will be mounted there. Steve will help me replace that door... but we need to design something... well still got plenty of time
  4. Yeah the Glossy White is very nice... just have to take good care of it Steve will still have to come in a couple of times to fix "this and that"... so I can get him to help move it a couple of inches to the back, a couple to the left. And I still have all my designers to help
  5. Why BLACK cabinet you might ask... well... this is one of the reasons Appreciate the extra pair of high quality door hinge... 3 on each side to provide extra support
  6. Don't you just love my DARK MYSTERIOUS sump cabinet?
  7. Here's how the tank looks like... I am not too happy with the overflow cabinet... so will work with the tank maker to come up with something Other than that... I am happy Main Laminate: Glossy White Door Laminate: Brush Aluminium Sump Cabinet (inside): Glossy Black Note: I have yet to push the tank to the intended location... just leave it there for the time being
  8. No lah! I'm at home now... so it's actually not as LIVE as you guys think
  9. Ok... starting to show a bit of colour now... we are in the 1950s now... Tehnicolour
  10. Haha... actually the colour of the cabinet is pretty much the same as what you see now...
  11. Haha... I've been waiting for this moment for weeks now Thanks for your support bro... but I'm sure your new tank will be even more exciting A piece of styrofoam before resting the tank on top (old trick)
  12. The cabinet placement is temporary, will move more to the left, yes the door of the filing cabinet will be slightly blocked (cannot fully open) but that cabinet is seldom utilized Very solid construction I must say... Chengal wood with 2 beams running across to support the 4 ft tank
  13. I will show colour pix later... more dramatic this way... B&W
  14. What I meant was... even if we can find some existing mould for large acrylic tanks in Singapore, it will probably in inches instead of centimetres. We are so used to inches/footers here Yes I think there are much more larger tanks over there... they are financially more ready than us
  15. Emm... the right way of joining timber... tongue and groove... approved
  16. Yeah... too bad I can't help... just standing there taking photographs Using flash light some more The cabinet... awaiting the tank
  17. Phew Luckily I didn't get too greedy That guy beneath the tank is so funny... but that's the best way to move a tank up a flight of stairs I guess The guy in the foreground (with a very sweaty back) looks familiar right?
  18. Haha... dun think your tank can last that long... I mean... by then you should already own a 10 footer
  19. Probably Taiwan can do better acrylic tank too... I'm sure they have the mould there... how often you see such a tank in Singapore? Even so, it will probably be in inches instead of centimetres
  20. Hahaha... just nice... luckily I didn't order a 5 footer Really can feel their sweat and pain... amazing task... imagine... all these effort just to satisfy a "man"
  21. Actually moving up 3 stories is easy task... here's the real challenge Once passed my office entrance, they need to make a 90ยบ turn up the narrow staircase to my floor (the attic)
  22. These movers (from China) are quite pro... very strong indeed Total of 7 of them
  23. First of all... I must to Steve and team... arrived at my office 15 minutes before me This is the first time I hear tank maker deliver fish tank early Here's the main tank... ACACIA is my humble little design house (and that's our main sign)
  24. Oh... 5 more Chromis shouldn't be much of a problem lah... r u using pellets for feeding primarily? They are cleaner
