  1. Hehe... I know how it feels... I have very short memory and a bit too rebelious for normal consistent schooling... so do design instead
  2. Love the Sailfin I'm gonna get myself one soon
  3. Emm... I thot FW fishes more cruel leh
  4. I think my SixLine is MUNCHING on them... coz I don't see it much during feeding nowadays... just swimming around unlike last time... probably those NUDIs tastes better than fish pellets Must properly clean them before transferring to my new tank
  5. Bro... I already received several job applications by reefers lah No yearly bonus some more... You are a bit high on maintenance lah
  6. No more FOTOS... unless you wanna see this Actually it looks better than those posted by the Germans... probably ATI is upgrading the ThreadWheel construction too... no more cable ties
  7. Haha... weekly gathering is a great way for us to meet up and learn from each other... I will still drop by my office during the weekend (on our way to the gym @ Orchard, CFO waiting in the car... that kinda quickie)... will rely on auto-feeder for weekend feeding and will do water change during weekdays... probably stay late once a week or so for major maintenance Not impossible lah
  8. Remember... before 3rd September hor... really pointless to miss the promo price lah AM is so gonna kill me for this... after the promo... NO SALES Seriously, if you are really keen, why not drop by my office a day or two before the cut-off date... look at the actual thing before committing... make a better decision But I got a feeling you will love it
  9. You are going to be a very wicked boss I can see that in you It's more like... I spend all these $$$ to "open their eyes"... well actually I think it will definitely add life to the office and educate my colleagues along the way... I'm sure 1 or 2 of them will end up having a marine tank at home I'm a very good superior hor
  10. The sand storm is very minor... they do shoot in like a bullet... not like some clumsy tree log Oh I forgot! My sand bed is purely Puka Shell!!! No fine sand for them to retreat in at night No LW for me
  11. Yes very possible... spotted another 4 of them stuck on the front glass panel this morning... will off the light earlier tonight, catch them out... as much as possible. If the problem persists for the next 2 days (somehow expected) I will do freshwater dip for every piece of Zoas How long is a dipping session? 10 minutes? Dip them into DI water right? I just LOVE this hobby... it will never settle down... always ways to make us spend our free time
  12. Yeah... I've handled it (the crisis is over... I guess)... phew... almost cost me my home and my car Hahaha... so drama right? As for the office tank... we've added another designer to the studio... hehe... no need to explain why lah
  13. Bro Colinsoon, you might be young... but you do know how the "world goes round"... Yes, I will have to do something about the home tank... obviously. Downgrading it into a FOWLR is the first step, using less electricity the second, getting rid of that damn chiller is the third... If I want to keep the tank, I must learn how to spend less time with it... I've discussed with my CFO about it (of course)... will be able to make a clearer decision once the office tank is up and running I can't find a buyer for my AquaMedic Percula 90 tank If I can sell it, I will seriously consider "decom" it ... and settle for a small Sea Horse tank
  14. Height wise... within normal range... just allow 2 more inches for easy removal of the collection cup... with a collection cup that huge... I wonder if external skimmate collector is ever needed Will do a measurement of the volume it holds later part of the day... need to prepare for Company's meeting now Oh another important info to share: You see the water outlet "T" below the filter floss? The recommended sump water height is 8" to 10" (not higher than the tip of the water outlet) or else it will create a too much pressure to the pump and it will not work properly. So for those of you with high sump level (say 12") you will have to elevate the BM 4" up from the base of the sump. Not a problem actually as it can be done easily and nicely. But do allow sufficient space above (4")... I hope I'm not confusing you guys
  15. Actually not too bulky lar Considering everything is built-in... no additional feeding pump required, no unsightly piping & etc.
  16. Guys... I don't think my ATI Bubble Master will be "fully" up and running before 3rd September (deadline for AM's Amazing Promo) I will try my best to offer you guys as much information as possible (even entertain visits if you want to see the BM running on a cycling tank )... just don't miss the launch price hor... even after converting from Euro (minus 16% VAT)... it is still DAMN GOOD DEAL!!! The next 3 posts will give you the footprint and height of the BM (for those interested but with limited sump space)
  17. It's AMAZING!!! I woke up this morning earlier than the alarm clock!!! Go to work singing... laughing at all the (same old) jokes Glen and FD thrown to the public... feels flightly even before coffee... now that's what I call MOTIVATION!!!
  18. LW is not that hard actually, mine struggled with the SixLine for more than a month... obviously damn stress but still pops up every now and then... even now... I have no idea if it is actually still alive... from experience (with other bros) I think they are very much dependent on shipment. If they come unhealthy... that's it... doomed no matter what you do Still a dream to me... I wanna find a pair of Maldives LW (Male and female have very different distinct patterns)
  19. You need to allow another 2" to remove the cup from the body easily
  20. My late Leopard Wrasse (Maldives) stay in the sand bed at night... didn't notice it moving objects... oh I miss it so much
  21. I suspect either Tonga Zoas shipment (2 months ago) or some Sulawesi Zoas I bought (1 1/2 months ago)... only recently they grew in numbers
  22. More NUDIs spotted on the glass... any idea why they stay on the glass at night?
