How about you guys meet up and place both your specimens into a MATING TANK

Those shells are harder than they seem My LR will not be resting on the shells btw... will update you guys on later on how both me and tank maker planned to introduce the LR The shells are good substrate (and relatively expensive compared to $5 sand)... but I'm sure it will be worthwhile in the long run

Actually another fun thing about looking at skimmate is... you can tell the condition of the tank just like how a vet examines dog poo to identify sickness Question: If you guys see purple, pink or orange skimmate... what does it tell you?

This is one of my proudest shrooms... a colony of Blue/Purple Mushroom... largest open up to 4" diameter... started as hitchiker... 2 small polyps... came with the LR from another reefers tank Will try to search for an old pix of the original polyp.

Now... something is definitely happening here... woot!!!

Yeah... hermit is another very annoying thing to have Time for a major update... start with my Red Pimpled Mushroom... bought from a "old bird" reefer 2 months ago... according to him the mushrooms only open up to a 10 cent coin size in his tank... over at my tank... the mushrooms finally opened up larger than 50 cent coin size after 2 months of struggling The amount of polyps also increased significantly... I guess my tank is high-nutrient enough

Haiz... spent another 2 hours (of my working hours) rinsing and washing the Puka Shells Manage to wash 2 1/4 packs already... still left with 1 3/4 packs Must complete this time consuming task by tomorrow or else the BIG DAY will be further delayed

Yeah very neat built-in setup... just one question... how come I see a lot of black cables around the Tunze Stream corner? BB... interesting
