Placed the salt into the sump tank slowly... almost filled the entire carton... will let it run thru the weekend... and will measure the salinity on Monday Now my job is done... will observe a little longer before calling it a day

Time to fill up SALT... Marine Environment Salt... as I've tried 3 other brands before... ME rocks

The external overflow box... a bit noisier than I expected (haha too used to IOS)... will work with tank maker to improve this further

Also tested the Water Top-up Station... working flawlessly as expected... adjusted the valve to restrict flow a bit

For me, I need to build a strong foundation for the house... use the best building material I can afford... only then can I be confident enough to fill the house with expensive and antique furnitures... sense of security is important to me

This piece of rock is positioned right on top of the reef, probably around 8" away from T5 tubes. The surface of the rock was covered entirely with algae for a few months... until recently it looks more positive... here are some of the factors that may contribute to the disappearing of the annoying algae... 1) Using DI water instead of tap water 2) Replace PURA Complete with Aquapharm Sorb-4 & Aquapharm PUR-II 3) Introduced 10 Turbo Snails 2 months ago Note: I have not perform any water change for almost 2 months now...
