  1. The fixture comes with a JBJ 14000ºK bulb... will use it for the time being Video taken during feeding mode (Wavebox not active)... aren't my Anthias lovely
  2. Finally made up my mind... added a JBJ K2 Viper 150W Clip-on MH today... love the effect Now let me recalculate my power consumption
  3. I think Balling is a much easier and less risky alternative for your tank size where running a full scale CR may not be practical. A lot of European reef tanks run successfully by Balling method, but once the volume exceeds a couple of hundred litres, Balling can be expensive. Note: The Grotech liquid additives come in 5L pack too 2 channels enough, you do not need KH+Ca3 as it is formulated for those using RO water.
  4. Bro remove that bottle of skimmate from your fridge lah  I come collect can?
  5. Welcome back bro! Your tank is indisputably the most advanced RSM in the world  Do you do your own mix? Why not use the Grotech Liquid specially formulated for balling? A 1L bottle can last long considering you relatively small volume. You can try: http://www.aquamarin.com.sg/productsDetail...id='22' http://www.aquamarin.com.sg/productsDetail...id='23'
  6. Yeah I got your point there... but actually my 2 internal Aquabees produce must lesser heat (consume less power) than a large capacity external pump. The smaller Aquabees are a lot quieter too... and cheaper to maintain and replace.
  7. It will take a long while to achieve sesame paste... unless I start to stock heavily... or add a school of Chromis Whether the Elegance can withstand such wave in the long run... has yet to be seen
  8. My Grotech HEA200... still in honeymoon mode

  14. Yes you ended up eating Maggi becoz you have to rush home (no time to pack for food) with all the big-bags-small-bags... enjoying a hot cup while monitoring your new acquired jewels is not too bad a dinner
  15. Glad to share with you guys 51% savings on power consumption... the lighting is a little "borderline" at the moment... might need to add a bit more fire power if there's a necessity
