Nope... the light from my clip-on MH will not be able to cover the entire Chaetomorpha chamber since the light gotto penetrate through a layer of black glass Have added a PL just for the Chaeto and I intend to run the PL 24/7
Yeah... you might wanna relook at a new hood... much higher so that it can conceal your MH... making the setup look much neater... since you are to relook at a "safer" way of installing T5 tubes

6 days 7 hours upon firing-up... I believe the skimmer has fully kicked-in... the skimmate is still constantly filthy-looking although I've been controlling my feeding... yesterday pellets only... today 3 cubes of frozen mysis (water removed)
Introduced a significant amount of Chaetomorpha into the sump today... already I can see lesser microbubbles in the main tank... hopefully the Chaeto will grow quickly
Yes both T5 and MH will do great for SPS... really depends on your preference and some issues such as your chiller size, prefered water temperature, environment temperature & etc.
Yes your rocks are pretty purple... well done Are you checking ur Calcium level and are you dosing additives or planning on a CR? Coz my coralline algaes consume Calcium like hungry ghosts
