Wow your tank is so picturesque... almost as impressive as the background reef paper, lol. Seriously, very good colour selection.

I think my shrooms are looking happy... can anyone help ID it for certain? It's more brownish than the picture below.

A Review On Accuracy Of Salinity Measurement Appar
jervismun replied to CalciumReef's topic in Product Reviews
Bought it! Nice... now I can check my water daily without getting my hands wet or stressing the LS too much by submerging my old Coralife swing-arm. -
According to the instructions, 1 1/2 (about 7.5g) teaspoons for my tank size. Must add Calcium Hydroxide every week... oh, I expect this product to require lesser maintenance. I just need to fill the container with water, then wait for 15 min before connecting back the Osmolator. Actually quite simple job, took me less than 15 mins. I will post again once I get a feel of the functional part of the product. Stay tune Feel free to ask questions yeah? If you wanna check how much? Check www.reefdepot.com.sg

A bottle of Calcium Hydroxide (250g) that comes with the package. The content is very lightweight and fine... just like flour or talcum powder.
-
-
The bottle fits nicely inside the bucket... although this device can be fixed outside (hanging on the tank) but Tunze is against it to avoid unnecessary leakage and so on... anyway I think it's best to hide of the equipments, my room is already filled with all sorts of equipments now.
-
Need to attach the bracket into my Tunze Osmolator pail... Using one of the two ready-drilled holes.
-
I am buying all these equipments for my future tank... the Nano is just an introduction... I am already planning to custom design/made out-of-this-world tank... a unique showpiece, lol. Remember? I am a designer

Notice the "Made In Germany"? lol One thing I can't stand is paying Germany price, get China made product... and it happens all the time

SHOCKING!!! My testpen is way off the mark. Salifert pH test = 8.0 Testpen (no brand) = 8.7 Ok, so my water is a little low on pH all these while... damnit! I will still bring the testpen to the LFS to fix the problem.

Ammonia Nitrite and Nitrate levels

We are in the Newbie section... so we are all "blind leading the blind" lo! -
You want my honest opinion? Don't get a Nano Cube... but if you really wanna get it, I bought it from Tampines Mall. Ask for a discount if you r paying with cash/nets (at least 5% off). I would strongly suggest you custom a 2 feet tank with cabinet + sump. Emm... I think u r already running a tank right? Ah... a second tank... well done! lol
-
Hey cool close ups, your digicam is good. Yes those are still considered mushroom... can't remember the name, check out www.liveaquaria.com... saw it last night.

Actually, I think this section would probably offer highre viewership than the Nano Reef section. I shall continue this thread. Please continue to support me, ok?

Poor clam... if you really love clams, take it as your aim lo... learn as much as you can, slowly setup a tank suitable for clams. Once you are ready? Buy till your hearts content! lol Well what's my aim then... to create a one-of-a-kind reef tank??? Err... how to create something unique if it's modeled towards nature? lol

I saw the Weipro hang-on selling around $45 @ Reborn. You still need a powerhead though. Ask them for a suitable one, again decide what kinda brand you roughly want. European made or China made, coz the price differs greatly (more than double). And yes, I think your corals will be much happier with a better skimmer... whether or not delicate corals, not too sure, check with other pro bros. -
Emm... really quite cost effective setup... perhaps I overspent... let me look at my last month's credit card bill... Have to agree with you bro... KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS... but can I add PASSION too? Coz I am feeling it all over my body... like FIRE

Err.. I'm afraid so
