  1. Thanks bro, I will monitor it closely... how does a nudibranch looks like? You have pix to share? Hehe, yeah very passionate about reefing.
  2. Thanks! Luckily you corrected me, this coral requires low water flow. So I already relocated it near the bottom of the reef, slightly covered and low current.
  3. New coral... Alveopora Coral (Branched) http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_di...d=390&N=0\ This photo was taken 4 hours after introduction to the tank. I guess it will take longer time to fully bloom. Will update you guys... just now at the LFS, it looks cream colour... I hope it will turn cream soon, coz I like the colour. Thanks bro Terryz for correcting me.
  4. Is it better to introduce a pair? I know this species can tolerate more than one specimen... well, ok I will go AM and get another one. They have the really small ones @ quite affordable price too. Sorry
  5. Well... maybe my next coral... a pretty yuma... yum yum!
  6. It makes more sense this way... I know a lot of reefers upgrade all their equipments along the way... you can just see all the lelong! So in the end... it'll probably end up spending the same amount of money if not more.
  7. YEah!!! I finally got rid of the tiny bubbles!!! It's the ReefPack 500 filter, I am supposed to fill the filter container with water (full) before inserting into the ReefPack. Hehe... my bad, I hate reading manuals
  8. Yeah newbie's corals are usually quite hardy. But try not to fry your LS with 32ºC water, lol. Luckily I got my chiller on time, there was once my tempt rose to 32ºC with the MH on for a few hours. Btw, my mushrooms are kinda big... at least 4" in diameter. Like it very much although the colouring is very common and boring. Will this type of mushroom spread fast?
  9. And the mushroom is at its best (after keeping for 5 days now)... I'm sure my water condition is alright. But I will still monitor it closely, did some tests a while ago.
  10. The Cloves finally opened up fully... beautiful. Unfortunately I do not have any atinic blue, or else "lagi best"!
  11. True... and come to think of it... all those trouble for some Chaetos? lol My tank can probably do without them anyway.
  12. I will monitor them closely... will remove them once I spotted any sign of rotting. Guys... u think I should get a sump + refugium? I am still considering...
  13. I shot an amazing shot of my shrimp today, go to my link to see
  14. Nice I added some newbie's corals too... and a cleaner shrimp.
  15. When they grow big, I can introduce another smaller one I heard cleaner wrasse always ends up dead in captivity... and I don't think they are suitable for a nano tank as there will be no big fish for them to clean.
  16. Another strange but natural behaviour... lovely!
  17. And I really really like your zoos... wish I have a floor bed like yours.
  18. My tank setup doesn't allow much space for swimming as my ReefPack 500 is taking too much space. Click on my signature link... you'll see how trapped my tank is.
  19. Phew! What a relief... my home is around 3 years old So can be considered new lah?
  20. Is the sea fan hard to keep? I know they need good water flow... what about lighting?
  21. Follow my Nano thread and see how long the Turtleweed will last in my tank, lol.
  22. Yeah actually the ReefPack can comfortably support a system 3 times my water volume... my next tank is already in the drawing board, my plan is not to buy new equipments everytime I move to a larger tank.
  23. Thanks guys, I will go get it this weekend. Those betta boxes are blocking my surface water flow.
  24. After running the ReefPack 500 for more than a week, everything seems perfect. You can see my water parameters from my signature below. And do comment if you think there's anything I can improve on. Meanwhile, enjoy the photo below, taken just now. It's nice to see new LS acting so naturally... I guess that is a sign "better than average" water quality.
  25. Thanks guys for all your support... I know what to do now
