I also bought a Six Line Cute little fish. How's things?

Hehe... very nice I think the Leather enjoys my MH very much! It looks like a very healthy specimen. Bought it at a Pasir Ris Farm 2 this afternoon.
-
Bro Terryz Rhodactis... opening slowly, currently about the size of a 20 cents coin. Will the surrounding algae affest it?
-
My new Six Line... and please don't tell me the fish is just kissing the Blue Sea Fan It's a very pretty fish, curiously moving in and out of tiny caves... a nice fish.

Hi bro, do you encounter problem feeding the 2 spots? I read from somewhere they can be hard to feed and starve most of the time. Just bought mine, hehe.

Hi Juscool My chiller is running that way too, water from the pump will run into the chiller 24/7. The thermostat will detect the water running through the chiller and if needed, kick start the chiller. So that's when the noise and electricity nightmare comes in. So if the water is cool, the water will just pass through without activating the chiller. But having the stock pump doing so many things is not a good idea. The stock pump itself is already barely sufficient. Rather add another pump (doesn't have to be very powerful) for the chiller or change the stock pump to a more powerful one. Just bare the space constraint in mind as a lot of pumpheads out there are pretty big and noisy (compared to stock pump). Hope this helps

Bro your tank is so inspirational... I wanna have a tank like yours in the future Keep posting, keep inspiring the newbies...

Bro can you be more specific what u feed? Like full name and brand so that I can look for it too... no point having nice corals, quality water... and in the end they die of hunger, lol.

Hi bro Ancelot You know I am alrady planning for a larger tank right? So the Sunburst shouldn't have much problem unless it grows 3 times its current size within 3 months. But I thought Sunburst is smaller than the usual Anthias even in adult size... at least I was told by AM. Purple Tang is another favourite... will introduce into my next tank SPS... well perhaps 2 years from now. But I already plan ahead to ensure my new tank is capable of supporting SPS, so no more expensive upgrading. But for now, I am very happy keeping newbie corals and fishes. Sea Fan doesn't feed on Phytoplankton? Em... They do look happy when I feed them, I also feed them Zooplankton. Currently cultivating Artemia (sea monkey), within the next day will be able to tell successful or not, lol. A bro also suggested oyster eggs, so if not too exp, will get one this weekend. What's Rotifers actually? Do you have a good brand so I can go look for it. Don't know if you are wrong or not... hopefully this is not "blind leading the blind"

The usual stuff lo, nothing fantastic. In terms of location, Sg has the advantage of Indo-Pacific species. Even those from Australia and Hawaii. But London got really fierce SHARKS!!!

Paris Sealife (near Paris Disneyland)... I think this anemone is a rare kind right? I have not seen such a beautiful anemone in LFS before.

Looks like a showtank in some exhibition... must stand out, lol.

So what r u planning on feeding the Sea Fan? I got both Phytoplankton and Zooplankton... cultivating Artemia (sea monkey) now. Will probably look for oyster eggs too (if not too expensive). Sure my other corals will benefit also.
-
Good idea! I will remember these... sure will come handy next time
-
Great! The Rhicordia only opens during day time (just like other shrooms)? The Hammer is looking fine and comfortable.
-
Here's an update... did minor rockworks. Bro Terryz hammer (left) is slowly opening up. How many diff corals can u spot in this pix? 4? See again
-
No lah... they fit nicely in a nano. You can actually split the Sea Fan if you want to. They will survive. Enjoy and let us keep both of them alive. Show us a pix
-
No wonder so bright Keep those photos coming bro!

Yes... from what I heard, the $10 air stone skimmer is quite ok (definitely better than nothing). You also need an air pump which will prob cost you $6. So, while saving... get a skimmer running. I always enjoy those brownish skimmate in the collection cup. It's as interesting as the tank itself, lol
