Thanks bro... em... I might get another clam next week or maybe not. Too many can be overkill for a nano tank. A bro will sell me 4 small SPS frags next week, so gonna be really exciting week ahead I put my remaining (quite many) live brine shrimps into the freezer already, yeah a bit smelly. I also removed all the smelly water. My fishes look so much more active now, even my shy-shy Sunburst is coming out into the open much more often.

Thanks bro http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_di...pcatid=1912&N=0 Don't mind a mated pair... have not seen it in LFS. And they are from South America?!? Cool

Not as beautiful as my old clam... well it is still stabilizing... hopefully more colours will show up tomorrow
-
I bought it for $2 and I can feed 3 days with it... of course not a permanent day-to-day staple. Will feed my fishes pallets too. But it's nice to see live food and they love it I will buy a bag every week, so 3 days of live shrimps, 4 days of pallets. Bro w3ish3ng, if they die... down the drain they go... hopefully they can last 2 to 3 days. Will prepare a better tank with air pump for this purpose next week.

Nah just kidding... I bought a small pack of Brine Shrimp from AM just now and phew! what a feast I spotted my Sunburst Anthias eating in open for the first time How long you guys think the shrimps will last in a plastic bottle?

I am doing the same thing... 1ft PL but very close to the Chaeto. Perhaps you wanna bring the PL closer to the Chaeto. 20cm seems like very far away. And I reverse photoperiod, with a bit of light going into the tank acting as moonlight, lol.

I was at AM just now, bought another clam. Yeah they did "on" the MH. So the woman I talked to the other time knows nothing about the shop, lol.

Experience sharing low pH in tank

Very informative Hope all is well... all the best to you bro -
Hehe I am no expert in clams, so can't advise u much on that. However, to please yourself, you can always place the clam facing the viewer slightly angled towards the current flow. My clam doesn't look skinny... and I remember seeing your clam at PR, doesn't look skinny to me... perhaps you wanna tilt the angle a bit? Try post a frontal shot of the clam. Their display tanks are beneath the staircase, the only 2 "touch-pool" tanks they have. Those blue lamps are not MH, just normal tubes. It was so dark there, I can't even see those tiny ultras clearly... they all look black to me. Well, perhaps I went at the wrong timing. Will try again after work, see if they "on" the MH. Gonna get another clam

Finally... found an old 1" PL lamp. Moved the Chaetomorpha to the back compartments. The light will be switched on opposite my MH timing to have a more balanced system especially for maintaining pH. The lamp is just a temporary fix as it might not be bright enough... 2 betta box for sale... anyone?

Normally, how long does it take for small damages like this to recover? Will it grow back, in the first place?
-
Wait till u see my 2 Spots Goby... discovered today... after a 2 ft plunge into the lid of my top-up container
-
After 10% water change and my usual bi-weekly dosing (1/4 cap)... most corals including the Toadstool Leather look happier... notice those extra long tentacles
-
Spotted a tiny bit of damage to my clam... will monitor it, hopefully it will grow back! What can I do to help it recovers faster?
